Woww such awesome muse, brilliant word choice and your muse gathered well, from forgotten pages it seems. This is one of your most creative masterpieces I must say. It really leaves my poetic heart in awe. Kudos.

Pleez do add your thoughts/comment/review under my newest poem too. Always nice to say hi to all here via comments.

Syd, this is simply outstanding. There is so much wisdom to be distilled from these few verses.

Communicating mind to mind is a phenomenal concept that we may all experience in a future life. :-)

Excellent write.

Wonderfully written rhythmic poem with such deep meaning. The images are locked in the reader\'s mind.

Great job, Syd. :-)

A good write Syd. She seems Kaleidoscopic and psychedelic (not necessarily meaning \'high\' on something).
Time for a lay down to recover, after those long words this time of day! lol.

Your fantasies come to life in this poem. I particularly loved the last verse, \"Will she make me blossom or will she make me scream.\"

I had those exact thoughts the first time I saw the tattoo sleeves. :-)

Great job!

Man/Machine
Tamara Beryl Latham - The Poet said:

Syd, this is an excellent poem, but such a sad commentary on what is becoming of humanity.

Yet, I could also substitute \"robot\" with someone who is diagnosed with bipolar disorder. Edit joints.

When I first started reading this poem bipolar disorder came to mind.

A forceful warning on drug-use and the fall that precedes flights to more danger - - love the chosen image Syd as it lays stress on the poem\'s strong phrases on false security.

Tamara Beryl Latham - The Poet said:

Yes, Syd, the poem was quite enjoyable. The reader is able to feel every aspect of the journey you\'ve outlined in your stanzas.

What\'s great is the image you included of Icarus, makes us clearly understand that false sense of security you mentioned.

Thanks for posting. :)

An intriguing read Syd - - I love the way you wind words around to obtain the flow of momentum -- and a last line to sigh for which gives the reason for risk-taking - - as \"the road to excess\" - a brilliant write.

I think you may upset a few poets here who seem to be \'devout\' christians believing in the words only of a man written mistranslated book.

Your approach to a christian belief is refreshing, uplifting and surely encouraging in these times of a diminishing belief in the population.
