Dear jarcher,
I have never read a poem of such a beautiful sorrow since Seamus Heaney\'s, Mid Term Break. To lament in its sadness and wonder in its beauty, your words portray the depth of grief so tenderly that the reader is left with no choice but to whisper each line for fear of damaging each fragile verse. Such a happy looking boy, heaven can\'t get enough of his kind. Thank you very much for sharing this most beautiful poem.
All the very best,
Tony.

IN MEMORIAM TRACY LAMAR WYATT

This poem strikes deep at ones heart. It is tender and sad having a distant familiar feel of a place known but placed, a place visited but buried under dust of years a feeling felt but repressed and an ominous, foreboding sense yet quite welcome at the same time. It brings to mind James Blunt\'s new song \"Dark Thought\" dedicated to Carrie \'Fisher that was a very good friend of his that died after having supposedly kicking substance problems. This is a most lovely work and reminded me of how I miss your poems. Write some more.

And fitting epitaph it feels. The words may have come streaming out; they however claim fine, considered and should have halted on something solid (marble, or…).

Inspired, brilliant. A most moving poem so well written. It is heart felt and brings tears to the eyes. A mark of poetic art the emotion it evokes, The tenderness and love felt in this piece will stay with me as a shadow of a man I never met.

To lightly tread through this poem is a complete joy. Superlative in its style, language and poetics, so, too, the wisdom therein. Excellent!
Kind regards,
Tony.

Delightful and lightly threaded, seamlessly from verse to verse into the glow from hell. Blake would be most pleased. I love the art work especially so the children playing, Ring-a-Ring-a-Roses in the background. The arts of both your quill and brush I have enjoyed very much and for that, I do thank you very much. All in all - lovely.
Kind regards,
Tony.

Thanks for sharing this poem and its backstory! Your grasp of Housman\'s work really shines through. I love how your poem flips his themes on their head, especially pointing out the irony of his long life vs. his poetic obsession with dying young. It\'s awesome that you wrote this back in 1971 and, minus a few minor tweaks, it remains intact. I am glad you decided to share it. Your take on Housman adds a fresh perspective to his work - nicely done!

A gorgeous rhythm and rhyme, that writes such a lonely scene, but in a very beautiful way. I also like the accompanying picture too, where both the pose and the shadow, depicts a visual statement of yearning.
I can relate to the sentiment you have raised at times, but such a poetic mantra should be a beacon of hope, to look forward to future meetings and rekindling, that would warm the heart.
Bravo, and I hope that all is well.

Great poem and artwork the poem has a Scottish of English flavor and though all others say Blake I sense a little Hieronymus Bosch. Loved especially the last line.

Really love this one. The flow is perfect. Reminds me of a mix of Dahl and Robert Service.
