ANGELA HERE - Good Evening AROBOT Thnks for an interesting Poem ! Water H~O~H is a simple but very interesting and essential substance. Planet Earth is different form the other Solar Planets because of its abaundance of liquid water. There are millions of gallons of liquid water (mainly salty ~ 3.5 % salt) for every Human being on the Planet. To be potable water has to be purified and in the Developed Countries in the West we take it for granted that Tapwater is drinkable. I once drank Well Water in Mexico and ended up with MONTAZUMAS REVENGE ~ bad tummy ! The Global population is growing and water pollutin is increasing. WE must conserve water and ensure evone of us has access to an adequate supply of PURE POTABLE WATER ~ AMEN NO WATER = DEATH !

BRIAN HERE - Greeting AROBOT - Thank you for a very delicate Poem descibing your sojourn with one of nature most elegant of creatures - a SNAKE. Snakes have a bad press ! I have a yellow snake (about 1 meter long) I take into PRIMARY SCHOOLS so children can see how it moves on a polished floor and handle it if they wish. The Female Teachers are most scared of it. It is harmless and in the end about 50% of the children are prapred to touch & handle it ! We should be at one with nature but know which ANIMALS & INSECTS are safe & which are dangeous ! Thanks for posting your Poem in your own Language - Beautiul ! Please check our site and our FUSION (Click on DEVELOPING) ON Cats & Dogs - thanks

ANGELA HERE - Good Morning AROBOT - Thank you for a very stimulating POEM to wake up too ! A Feather is a beautiful example of Creative Form & Function. Every species of BIRD has its own specific set of Feathers to enable it to play its part in the AVIAN order of things - BUT - a single Feather can fill us with Awe & Wonder. Manmade artifacts fade into olivion. Im always collecting Feathers - each one is a miracle. Thanks for sharing. Beauty & Nobility are in the Eye & Heart of the Beholder - Enlightenment - AMEN !

Blessings & Peace to YOU & YOURS !

When trump was elected & started the project of putting a wall around the USA with the rest surrounded by an ocean (moat) I sent letters to the president, vp, house, senate, government officials to ask questions,
1)Did they realize putting a wall around America was in effect making the US a prison. As the only thing I could think of with a wall like they proposed was a prison.
2)Did they realize that & decide yes they wanted to live in a prison, along with all of US.
3)Could they just please renounce their Citizenship now. As I wanted to renounce mine as long as they were in office.
Oh yeah now Drumpf has a wall around the White House. Damn!
trump is only the symptom of what we have become here in the USA. Don\'t know why the \"white\" race so called evangelicals can\'t see that. As in why are their 2 Christian Churches 1 wants to dominate & control through some kinda of manifest destiny bull crap, the other is very Loving & Welcoming to all us sinners, kinda Christlike.

We have also come to this hallowed spot to remind America of the fierce urgency of Now. This is no time to engage in the luxury of cooling off or to take the tranquilizing drug of gradualism. Now is the time to make real the promises of democracy

I really liked this piece, and it is so true. We must never put things first in our lives, because when we die we cannot take them with us. Everything will eventually turn to dust. Again, this piece was very enjoyable.
Put and keep the Lord first in your life.
Persistence is key

I used to go fishing many years ago and went trout fishing. When I caught and ate the fish it was wonderful.
Recently I went trout fishing again with a friend, I did not catch any that day but about a week later the thought came to me that if I had caught a trout I would not have been able to kill it. I will not go fishing again.

How Much Is a Soul
jarcher54 said:

The infamous effort to weigh the soul was silly, just like \"experiments\" to determine if praying for gravely ill patients affects their outcomes. Imagine if God let those not prayed for die but helped the others, or if the earth were to spin out of its orbit from all the mass lost as souls escape to their eternity elsewhere during the pandemic! But whatever one believes or doubts, it is clear that your final couplet is inspired by something! It is in a word divine:

Or for Heaven’s sake, ready for the flight

A soul should rid the gravity to travel light

BRIAN HERE ~ Good evening AROBOT - Great Poem. I once worked @ a PE College and there is whole World of difference between TRACK & FIELD ~ Just as there is between Swimming & Diving. In Track & Swimming You are in group and beating the GROUP is the issue. You can winn Olympic Gold in a SLOW TIME as long as you win the FINAL ! But in FIELD (& Diving) its You against the World & the World Records ! You need to Jump further & higher and throw things further and execute the perfect DIVE ! In my experience *That is just how LIFE is* Thanks for the analogy !

Blessings & Peace & Joy to You & Yours !

HI AROBOT - BRIAN HERE - Thanks for a lovely Poem all about the SOUNDS of Nature. When we were in the Boy Scouts when we were in our Teens all the Patrols were named after Birds & Animals and the Girls were named after Trees & Flowers. Ours was the PEEWIT Patrol and its call sounds like its name PEEEEEE - WIIIIT PEEEEEE WIIIIT We had to recognise the Birds (and Animals) by Sight - Habitat & Sound. The first time you camp out at night in a Field remote from Traffic - You hear all sorts of NEW SOUNDS - SEE NEW SIGHTS - SMELL NEW SCENTS - TOUCH NEW TEXTURES & SAVOUR NEW TASTES ! Skills we lose if we become urbanised. We tried to live WITH NATURE just like the European Gypsies & the North American Indians & the Maoris in New Zealand which Angela & I have visited and lived among ! Thnaks for remind ing us of the LANGUAGE of the Mouse - Cuckoo - Francolin (Asian Gamebird like a Partridge) - Magpies & Thers and thanks for sharing some Chinese Folk Lore - AMEN. Angela & I have bought our First House ! We have made it very Bird & Wild Animal friendly. We have only been in it six weeks but have seen 20 Species so far - AMEN ! Thnaks for all yiour lovely POEMS - You are a BLESSING to this SITE !

Blessings & Peace to You & Yours

BRIAN HERE - GOOD EVENING AROBOT ~ Thanks for an interesting but very true Poem. As an Educationalist I am familiar with the GAOKAO which is a Chinese examination for entrance into Higher Education. The implication in the Poem being that when ones Child passed the GAOKAO - They would FLEE THE NEST and go to UNIVERSITY ! Mommys Restaurant would no longer be needed !
For a healthy Child a good Breakast is important . Please check our Poem TODAY - THANKS
