we need
is to find the right environment
to showcase ourselves at our best
but
we\'re scared, \'as they say better the devil

so be it toxic families and friends
or broken marriages or partnerships
we stay and try to fight
and showcase loyalty, knowing
we would all be better of
letting bygones be our pasts
and searching for whatever next
may free
that goodness we harbour, and
that best of us
we yearn, to be..
(such a sad cycle)

This was beautiful the way you referenced to the sun and moon as more or less; frenemies, each fighting to be eternal. I for one loved this poem. I like to see other people´s viewpoints. In my eyes, I have always seen the sun and moon as distant partners you know? That work together but your poem was refreshing and I prefer your take on it. It\'s always nice to know others persepctives
