Sad Flowers Die Alone

Very un-haha on its face, but so blatantly so that you turn the sadness into a sort of dark joke. But I do shed a tear for anyone starting to rot...

Nature\'s Love
L. B. Mek said:

they call it \'mother tongue\' for a reason
I relate to the feeling, dear poet
thanks for sharing
\'It runs through the blood
through oceans and rivers\'
all made of that same, oneness
that same \'matter\', truly
lovely imagery

Music Revives
arqios said:

So timely! Last night I had the idea of returning to an old habit of playing some tunes while nodding off to sleep. And early in the morning to do the same to rouse the awareness of the personal cosmos that envelopes us both in our waking and sleeping states. TFS!

Red, Red Sin
L. B. Mek said:

its natural and so devoid of sin
merely a skin condition
but eh what do i know
hope it regresses soon
my friend used to use some kinda E20 cream I think
but you probably know the best treatments already..

Who am I?
arqios said:

On the fence about taking insults as well. Wondering why they have to be given in the first place. Couldn\'t agree more with the choices in this poem. And it could very well be a specific person or persons.

All the hated things are solvable,
We can easily end them one day,
This list contains only trifles,
Please start to tackle them dear!

Rant away! I\'ve many a rant most of which are buried somewhere and unsaved. But just this week I had this growing pit to deal with. So for myself an excellent timing for expression.

Thoughts
arqios said:

That is quite a dilemma there. As with other things that humans produce - thoughts and words need to be expressed in some form or other. And that spiraling effect tends to be for other people a bit of a bother.

Thoughts
L. B. Mek said:

(and thus, our forefathers insightfully recognised
the less spoken, showcased more wisdom
than those who puked their words, like
how they come across their thoughts
unfiltered, raw and incoherent...)
I read, relate and learn
thanks for sharing, dear poet

Rotting Teeth, Unwashed skin
arqios said:

That is one discreet gift and comfort of poetry. I can also relate with much of these lines, many of our physical ailments can disfigure us on the inside. I used to always wear long sleeves even in the heat of the hottest summer because of a damaged self image and actual physical challenges, whether it be weight or skin condition.

Leaving You
arqios said:

The sadness makes it difficult. It can get so bad that changing schools, jobs and even towns may be helpful for a time, a new scene for a new dream.
