The family tree

when we can realise, this simple truth\'s of life
we may claim, to be truly: free!

then seek your \'peace of mind\'
down whatever path, you find
suits you best
as life, mostly
is about our journeys
our destination\'s
or results, or lack there of
tend to blur in our memories
over time
but those memento\'s, we garner
from our brave choices
will light our horizons, till that final blink!)

An interrsting read for me because my family experience is the complete opposite of the one you describe here. Never close knit, I am one of four siblings scattered across the UK who never come together and who are all fiercely independant.
Within I share a yearning which is the opposite of yours. How strange that our family life has given us such opposites.
