My friend, this reminds me how some travel memories stay vivid not because everything was perfect, but because the atmosphere, the people, and the feeling of being fully present all came together for a moment. The casual joy of this really comes through, Shaun. 🌹🖤🙏🕯️🐦⬛

Shaun, “We’re prodded insects trying to dodge a spear” is the line that really grabbed me here. It’s chaotic, anxious, and dehumanizing in exactly the way the poem wants to feel. That image lingers long after the read. Powerful piece, my friend. 🌹🖤🙏🕯️🐦⬛

Dealing With The Devil
Tristan Robert Lange said:
Shaun…do we have to deal with that dick? 🤣🤷♂️ Well, if we must, this thing comes out swinging in every possible direction. Meant in the best possible way. Beneath all the fire and chaos though, the frustration with fakery, manipulation, and performative culture comes through loud and clear. Certainly an intense and provocative write and I have much appreciation for you and your voice, my dear friend. 🌹🖤🙏🕯️🐦⬛

Has he deceived us maybe, into thinking he looks ugly, with horns, etc, when in fact he disguises himself as an angel of light? - a beautiful but fallen being.
So that\'s his phone number - 666?!

A fun read of conspiracy theories, men in black, government cover up and the National Enquirer yet with all that one has to ask how much is real for more is covered up than one may believe. Well done

Blotting Out The Naysayers
Tristan Robert Lange said:
My friend, I deeply relate to this too. Sometimes when you live openly, intensely, or differently, people project all kinds of things onto you…and eventually you either shrink yourself or learn how to keep moving forward despite the noise. This feels like choosing forward motion, a place we both find ourselves. There’s pain underneath it, but also resolve. Powerful piece. 🌹🖤🙏🕯️🐦⬛

Shaun, the line “X-Files, Fringe and Evil were more like docuseries” definitely stands out because it immediately grounds the poem in modern cultural paranoia and questioning. It gives the piece this feeling of someone constantly searching beneath surfaces for hidden meanings and patterns. Thought-provoking write, my friend. 🌹🖤🙏🕯️🐦⬛

Shaun, that line about reading “like my name is Ma$e” caught me immediately. It brings this very modern, cultural texture into the spiritual searching underneath the poem. The contrast between faith, conspiracy, media, and exhaustion gives the whole thing a frantic honesty. Strong piece, my friend. 🌹🖤🙏🕯️🐦⬛

Shaun...this hit hard and close to home. I love Amy. There’s something especially painful about remembering someone through a night that once felt so alive and carefree, knowing how the story ended. You can really feel the gratitude and grief sitting side by side in this. Tormented as she was, she was a beautiful soul and a brilliant artist. A child of God, even if mental health and drugs clouded that for her as it has so many others, myself included. I just thank God you and I are still here to realize it and witness that to others. Powerful write, my friend. 🌹🖤🙏🕯️🐦⬛
