Your pins get stronger and more pointed all the time, Shaun. I\'m for the commitment.
Now it might come as no surprise that I haven\'t got a favourite rapper, (oh please!) but I still think your last line is a beauty!

Yep, the one on the right looks a tad like.... we know who! lol.
With demons, I don\'t deny their existence, but tend to think some folk may be oppressed, even possessed by then, only as a last line of thought type of thing.

Wait, Mick Jagger was on Alien Nation? LOL! Just kidding, of course. (He does kinda draw that vibe in the pic, no?) A raw snapshot, Shaun. The poem reads as a collision of media, fear, belief, and burnout, and the lack of resolution feels intentional. It reflects how disorienting it can be to live inside constant noise. Strong, unfiltered work, my friend. πΉπ€ππ―οΈπ¦ββ¬

Tristan Robert Lange said:
A tense piece, Shaun. It reads as a snapshot of cultural anxiety more than accusationβ¦how rumor, revelation, and silence collide and leave people grasping for footing. You captured that instability clearly, my friend. As for me, I\'ve never owned a Jay-Z album...so win/win! LOL! πΉπ€ππ―οΈπ¦ββ¬

Now an obvious question - did a certain alien make any albums before he went home? lol.

This reminded me how paranoia and perception can blur when trust erodes. That feeling of unseen judgment hovering just out of reach is something many people recognize. You capture that atmosphere clearly. Well done, mate! πΉπ€ππ―οΈπ¦ββ¬

Shaun, this is about movement that isnβt triumphant, just necessary. Small steps, hidden damage, changed perspective, and a quiet sense of presence underneath it all. Itβs restrained, reflective, and grounded. Well done. πΉπ€ππ―οΈπ¦ββ¬

Shaun, this resonates as a voice from inside the grind rather than commentary from above it. The refusal to romanticize unemployment while still naming dignity feels important and necessary. πΉπ€ππ―οΈπ¦ββ¬

Shaun, this resonates as a cry from the space between help and harm. The sense of being offered solutions that feel worse than the illness itself is something many recognize, even if answers remain elusive. Well done, my friend. πΉπ€ππ―οΈπ¦ββ¬

Antipsychotics are at such a primitive stage in terms of a goal which would be a cure or control of symptoms without massive side effects. Solutions to come from Big Pharma which is driven to make profits.....The whole damn thing.

A poem after my own heart where some medications are necessary for certain individuals money has gotten in the way and blown everything far out of proportion. Bottom line preempts common sense and caution as to side effects and they rely on ignorance in the public and doctors to push profits higher. Where doctors that hold stock or at least their family members do serve on the FDA making decisions as to which drug is approved or not and when they fall out of patent discontinue production leaving those dependent upon them up the proverbial creek. A sad write.
