Shaun, the line “X-Files, Fringe and Evil were more like docuseries” definitely stands out because it immediately grounds the poem in modern cultural paranoia and questioning. It gives the piece this feeling of someone constantly searching beneath surfaces for hidden meanings and patterns. Thought-provoking write, my friend. 🌹🖤🙏🕯️🐦⬛

Shaun, that line about reading “like my name is Ma$e” caught me immediately. It brings this very modern, cultural texture into the spiritual searching underneath the poem. The contrast between faith, conspiracy, media, and exhaustion gives the whole thing a frantic honesty. Strong piece, my friend. 🌹🖤🙏🕯️🐦⬛

Shaun...this hit hard and close to home. I love Amy. There’s something especially painful about remembering someone through a night that once felt so alive and carefree, knowing how the story ended. You can really feel the gratitude and grief sitting side by side in this. Tormented as she was, she was a beautiful soul and a brilliant artist. A child of God, even if mental health and drugs clouded that for her as it has so many others, myself included. I just thank God you and I are still here to realize it and witness that to others. Powerful write, my friend. 🌹🖤🙏🕯️🐦⬛

Shaun, I really enjoy how these poems don’t just summarize the games…they recreate the frantic, bizarre energy of actually playing them. One minute it’s gothic horror in a castle, the next it’s body-part puzzle solving and industrial body horror. Resident Evil truly has no chill. 🤣 Excellent piece, my friend. 🌹🖤🙏🕯️🐦⬛

Shaun, this really captures the experience of survival horror games…the constant scrambling for ammo, weird puzzle logic, terrifying enemies, and moments where you just stop and wonder what kind of insanity you’ve walked into. The references land naturally without feeling forced. Excellent write, my friend. 🌹🖤🙏🕯️🐦⬛

An Optimistic Overture
Tristan Robert Lange said:
Shaun, this has a reflective, slightly weary honesty to it. Hope keeps trying to push through, but the world keeps answering back with war, fear, and repetition. “Nothing new under the Sun” closes the piece with a strong resigned wisdom. Amen. Well done on this. 🌹🖤🙏🕯️🐦⬛
