I just read that some people who were at the parade were shocked at how easily regular vehicles could enter the parade area. They mentioned that the police on duty there were not happy about it either.

Your middle line is absolutely the best advice anyone could possibly give. Not only external vulnerability from hard objects such as motor vehicles, but internal panic of sometimes unknown cause.

Before reading the poem I saw the Good is God sign and it made me remember years ago traveling through Oklahoma I saw a sign on the side of the road that said Good God Church with an arrow pointing ahead. For the longest time I looked not just for it but for a sign for the Bad God church. There must be a balance in all things. Loved the poem and its message to loosen up a bit and enjoy life, it is short
