POSTPARTUM SNEAK ATTACK

Very respectful and empathetic perspective from a third person point of view-it looks like you took their words to heart and reflected it back in a tender way-good story telling about this serious mental health matter

POSTPARTUM SNEAK ATTACK
Jeffrey Weese said:

Bobby O, your poem \"Postpartum Sneak Attack\" is a profoundly moving tribute that sheds light on the reality of postpartum struggles. Your skillful usage of vivid imagery and sincere tone provides an intimate and touching glimpse into your friend\'s experience. The varied rhythm conveys the unpredictability and intensity of her emotional journey, heightening the reader\'s empathy. Your choice of words skillfully mirrors the chaos and turmoil that she faces, yet also the strength and determination she embodies.

Furthermore, your reference to her husband\'s unwavering support underscores the importance of unity and companionship during such difficult times. The use of the child\'s name, Graysen, adds a deeply personal touch and serves as a symbol of hope, reinforcing the sentiment that love can prevail over adversity. Lastly, your closing lines invoke a strong sense of optimism and resilience, embodying the message that despite the current hardship, there will be a return to joy and normalcy. It\'s an incredibly powerful testament to human resilience and the power of love, and it resonates profoundly.

Nope. Attach some meaning to the cliches if you’re gonna use them. Just to say “happenstance unforeseen” without taking an extra thirty seconds to bring to life s real visual. Happenstance unforeseen is just lazy.

Do you see how rude your comment on my poem is when it\'s reflected back with your own work? Get a life.

I absolutely love all your musical imagery. It took me back to my performance arts instructor, when he taught me to appreciate all types of genres of music. Music definitely inspires us all, influences us to become great writers. It makes us grow to aspire to artists as great as the many legends you have named. Thank you for recommending me this piece to read. I\'m glad I did. Looking forward to reading the rest of your works.

Very cool. You made it sound better than I actually thought. It’s finished simpler than I intended and I just gave in to the way it wound up. At first, I was going to examine the blur as a metaphor for how things go awry and how we fictionslizr to serve selfish purpose but that vanity thing which was only gonna be one line gave me an easy out. I’m still gonna attempt the more serious w chagrin and restyled purpose. But you made me feel better and I couldn’t not admit truth to the YOU in my poetic circle.

PRAYER OF THANKS

Gratitude shown through prayer is essential to recognising who we are in this life and how God loves us. Saying thank you to the provider of life should be a natural response. This poem embodies such an act. Thank you

CLICHE’ NO LONGER

Your words really gratify and your humble decry truly identifies a certain character of substance both admirable and regal. Also , I’m certain that nuance you note is so in your wheelhouse and silky like a Pip and MJ fast break. Much appreciate the connect and I am always excited when you share your thoughts. Thanks

CLICHE’ NO LONGER
Parisab said:

‘When again love visits,Thank God that glorious day
This story then will have a happy end,
no longer a cliche

The final lines beautifully wrapped up the whole essence of the poem-the final words encompassed the whole story in a new and fresh ending. This is particularly a difficult task. I will try and attempt this nuanced magic one day.
