Not to be the bare of bad news but here it\'s not a workshop. In any case members should never feel like their work is being judged. When I read a poem I don\'t like I move on I don\'t tell them I dislike it it\'s the writers work. Personally I am an atheist so religious poems don\'t interest me at all but I don\'t sling mud at them. Their is a like button that is pretty useless to be honest and a fave button. But here is the most important thing to remember one reader may see a lot more of a poem than another reader, some of us have been friends here a long time and we know each other personally so a poem may mean something much deeper. Anyway that\'s what I wanted to say after reading this poem. ❤️

So many times I have experienced this. At first I offered constructive criticism but many just got pissed off, so now I just wait for them to ask. Furthermore, I consider myself a novice and wonder how many think the same of my poems but are too polite to say anything. I truly appreciate constructive criticism and have seem much worse, which I just blow off. I know that not all of my poems are good. I loved the rhyme and meter of this piece as well as the creative telling. It was a fun read.

Constructive criticism is best in my opinion,
That\'s how we grow as poets and artists,
As long as it isn\'t in a mean way, I personally would welcome it

Now that\'s what I call a tatoo! A true work of art, I\'m sure it has great significance for you. I applaud your bravery, I was too squeamish even to get my ears pierced. Good write, and congrats on a 10 yrs going strong.

This has special meaning for me in that both the rose and dahlia were flowers that my father grew and the lavender was grown by my grandmother. This poem flows off the tongue as smoot as honey. It has such a pleasant rhythm that seems meant for the garden as if one was taking a walk through it. Loved it
