Felt that! I can never express my feelings with poetry. But writing it gives me an escape to be millions of other people. To travel through time and space. To imagine stories I could never experience myself. Each poem I write is a theatre play where every actor is me.

Meera, I was 17 in 1992, when the supermodel got her fame, and they truly were.super beautiful and then came Catherine Zeta Jones a heart of gold with Beauty beyond imagination right in front of all of us young impressionable girls, thankfully I never compared myself to them but yes my self esteem as a young impressionable girl was bashed, none of us could compare, I remember well, I truly had admiration for them all, I used to visit Harrods on Saturdays just tomsee the famous people these type ladies and on occasion i did, I\'d stand in awe . Now I\'m much older and we have the influencer using pretence using their phones to actually make them look perfect, personally I prefer the real face of a person, we grow older and that\'s a beautiful thing. Catherine Zeta Jones, suffered a nervous breakdown of sorts because she also felt she had to be something that was on the cover of a magazine for many years. What I\'m trying to say that of course today\'s world is full of beautiful people but most are photos that have been filtered. I believe we should all just embrace who we are and love what we see in ourselves, even a photo on a profile may not be true because some cannot show the truth of fear they wont be liked, but that\'s the world we live in where we have to compete. A wonderful subject that if was used in schools would truly make a difference to the self esteem of many many thousands of young people in today\'s world and it would also provide a great explanation for why in the media and even on things like Instagram all the people are supermodels, well done. You are in fact a rose š¹
