eyes of lost love
L. B. Mek said:

and now she\'s back
\'western waves will rise,
‘neath savage sapphire skies,\'
and love, is recaptured
once again
and bursting with pride
in those adoring, eyes
locked on you, and you alone..
(just another beautifully sincere
dedication
thanks for sharing, dear Poet)
that picture, took me to Shakespeare:
\'Abraham. Do you bite your thumb at us, sir?
Sampson. I do bite my thumb, sir.
Abraham. Do you bite your thumb at us, sir?
Sampson. [Aside to GREGORY] Is the law of our side, if I say60
ay?
Gregory. No.
Sampson. No, sir, I do not bite my thumb at you, sir, but I
bite my thumb, sir.\'
(kinda like
you\'re biting your thumb
at that Romeo and Juliet ending
others wished for your love)
triumphantly, awesome! lol

Narcissus
Crowns4Christ said:

Very good work, well worded and love the way you told your story,
Definitely not a narcissist, I always try to look on the bright side of everything, so this person was saying that you are very handsome and nobody can compare,

When someone calls me certain things I turn it into positivity and erase the negativity, that way I can not lose my temper, which is really short

Great poem .. really like this . .. narcissists are difficult people .

I like how you expressed yourself in this . Sorry that you were called that .. that isn’t nice if your not that way , perhaps they were projecting their issues onto you ? I’m not sure . I once called someone narcissistic ., they turned it around and said I was that way ( I’m definitely not )

Rose of Romance
L. B. Mek said:

I think Burns, himself
would cherish the worded devotion
in this poem
what a fantastic, song
to serenade your Lorraine with..
and I can\'t help, comparing your lines
favourably to his
in that triumphant, \'red red rose\':
\'So fair art thou, my bonnie lass,
So deep in luve am I;
And I will luve thee still, my dear,
Till a’ the seas gang dry.

Till a’ the seas gang dry, my dear,
And the rocks melt wi’ the sun;
I will love thee still, my dear,
While the sands o’ life shall run.\'
(may your life\'s cups
be ever filled with each others, kindness
stay blessed, dear poet)

Dear Kevin,

I love your poem(s) dedicated to your
‘bonnie wee lass, Lorraine’.
It has been worthwhile and a blessing for you to wait and finally be with your first love.❤️

Perhaps love does conquer all.
Have a super day with your goddess.

Thanks, LB. These were my feelings recollected, not in tranquility, but out of the remnants of a broken heart. Hopefully, healing will flow as I pour out these bitter rhymes. Jesus tells us to love our enemies, but the flesh is weak sometimes. Again, thank you for your honest, full and sincere feedback on this sinner\'s poor poem. 😊

L. B. Mek said:

if you\'ve won, already
why waste your precious moments
contemplating these futile thoughts..
indeed, release
what pent-up fury or regret, you may have
but cherish more
these gifted breaths, within happiness
you\'ve been granted, dear Poet
even if they be in the palms of your hand
for now
that\'s no guarantee, they\'ll be there tomorrow
however steadfast or earnest your love..
(I think
vengeance or revenge
is a human weakness
hence why those humans that wrote
that so called, \'good book\'
mention it, so often
I think, the very fact that humanity
still exists
shows
if or what, governs
our universe, has little regard for wrath
if not, that exemplar ideal
of Jesus
would be one of destruction and decimation
and not, one of forgiveness
and a willing martyr
in the name of humility and love)..
cherish your love, my friend
where possible, refute hate

Lethal Lines
L. B. Mek said:

insensitivity, imbued in words
hurts
always has, always will
but
sharing opinions, freely
is a gift of modernity, we all
should cherish
history tried
stoning people to death
for their
innate, diverse way
of thinking, living
it didn\'t work, too well - then
well, unless
maybe for the herd majority
that were doing the stoning
momentarily..
still, Personally
I try to apologise, for my words
at every opportunity
although, it may never be enough
to undo
what hurt, they may cause...

Song of Sorrow
L. B. Mek said:

thanks for sharing, dear Poet
what a beautiful, dream you ink
faith is such a powerful tool
when utilised, for good
its just so sad, that this same
power
is oft
a Weapon
for entrenching, our differences..
\'selective salvation\'
what a warped, interpretation
of reductively, feigned
Christ - like, hollow idealism..
just sad
what a waste, of such impassioned hearts
