\'indeed, he be a Pure poet

(what a wonderful dedication
and yes, I too agree
there are a lot of self-involved
and over opinionated, fcker\'s
like me
that can ruin poetry
for the sensitive, poet)

Cruisin along when not composin and vice versa. Living life is poetry in itself. To share it in verse keeps the mind from turning on itself, at least that is my theory. Thanks for sharing.

Here, here! That was a poem with ideas dear. For when you bring that brocade to yon table. We cast aside all malice and fable. So struggle on and freely flow. Poet on for all to know.

Brilliant!!!
\'I poured on the pages
the pain and the pining.
Then laid them aside in a drawer
for a lining.

I wove you, with weeping,
a sonnet, sincerely,
believing that sorrow, which scarred
me severely
would fade like an ink spot
in drawer’s sunless shadows,\'

Hmm, I know this is a bit of fun, but it seems to look down on prosaic poetry. I love rhyme AND free verse, if it is well written and poetically expressive. The free verse of Sylvia Plath or T. S. Eliot can be simply sublime! Long live poetry, in its many forms and guises, I say.
