Brilliant!
especially enjoyed your unique 10/9 lines and couplets
\'For true love, like in idyllic Greece
has birthed us a golden age of peace,
and we’ll live long in that land of plenty;
we’ll feel no more than a youth of twenty!\'
this, be that infinity of life
inked in that elixir of Poetry...

death by dreaming

\'I’d rather depart as I’m dreaming deep,
slip slyly away\'
what a poetic feast! dear Poet
from Biblical
to Socrates
to Shakespeare
and even Romantic Poetry\'s
most romantic tale..
did you know, story goes
when they found Shelley
they had to burn his body
right there on the coastline
and its said, Mary
grabbed the ashes of his heart
with her bare hands
and kept it, between the pages
of his poem
where he speaks of life\'s unending connectivity
clinging-on to her one and only
\'cor cordium\'
heart of heart\'s...

Congrats!!!
and thank you for sharing
your gifted mountain peak\'s of life
with us
and trusting us to share in your delight;
you must be so Proud!
I remember you wrote your father
was an intelligent guy, knew
so many languages
and shared his wisdom with you
was it, Shelly\'s \'Adonais\'
you reworked in dedication..
(sorry my memory\'s not that great)..
but anyway, just trying to say
that he too, must
be so Proud as well
\'purposed\', Intellect
clearly runs in the family..
I\'ll, toast to you Great news
wish your son and all your loved ones
continued success, good health and Peace!
\'Cheers\' 🍾🥂

\'your own, personal
faith, is - as you
wield it, to be
or will-it, to free
your own, individuality...;
if it works for you
then treasure it
empower yourself with it
walk with eyes open
and heart\'s, invested
and you can utilise it, fully...!\'
let the rest, simply
be..
(more power to you, dear Poet
utilise your Poetry
wash yourself free of regret\'s reins
free yourself to traverse life, aiming
for future\'s awaiting, gifts)

love the synchronicity of the picture with your poetry
that determined face and imagery of background
while striding, forth
yet back, to arms
once, forsaken in the name of duty or loyalty..
(a mirroring of story telling, artforms)
thanks for sharing, dear Poet

\'indeed, he be a Pure poet

in humanity\'s capacity
to surpass their boundaries

(what a wonderful dedication
and yes, I too agree
there are a lot of self-involved
and over opinionated, fcker\'s
like me
that can ruin poetry
for the sensitive, poet)
lol
thanks for sharing

Cruisin along when not composin and vice versa. Living life is poetry in itself. To share it in verse keeps the mind from turning on itself, at least that is my theory. Thanks for sharing.

wishful thinking
Accidental Poet said:

I wish that I could hear the talking trees,
that I could catch their whispers on the breeze.
These two lines remind me of the Moody Blues song \"Tuesday Afternoon\".
all those you care for, you\'ll be with again.
If you live a good life, (which I\'m sure you do) the guilt and shame will be outweighed by the pride in your heart.
As long as you still compose like you have been, your poet\'s heart will live forever. A fantastic write Kevin. 😉
