Blue-eyed Bolla,
I concur with Lorna.
Sheā€™s spot on with her
comment...
ā€˜a double whammy of
an aching heartā€™...
Indeed!

Poet Boy
Nicholas Browning said:

Nothing I can say to you that you yourself don\'t already know.
It takes strength to talk about things like that, much less write about it.
Well done sir.

Secret Sin
Leisa Niamh said:

This fills me with sadness, but also a great empathy, as it conjures up thoughts of my own family and things that have happened. If this poem is personal to you, then I hope that expressing through poetry helps you.

Guitar Man
Lorna said:

Beautifully touching.. made me think of when my Dad died and how we had to turn our immediate attention to my mother who had Alzheimer\'s so we hardly had time to grieve at that moment. And it\'s now - years later that he comes back every day to visit. I miss him dreadfully - he was the quiet and kind one and those attributes become stronger and stronger as time goes by.......

Death of a Poet
Seeker said:

My story is just the opposite I started with prose and after years of frustration I realized my forte, if I have one, is the rhyme. Nice poem it captures the spirit of one trying to decide. But doesn't the muse decide? Excellent work!!
