Thanks, LB. These were my feelings recollected, not in tranquility, but out of the remnants of a broken heart. Hopefully, healing will flow as I pour out these bitter rhymes. Jesus tells us to love our enemies, but the flesh is weak sometimes. Again, thank you for your honest, full and sincere feedback on this sinner\'s poor poem. 😊

even if they be in the palms of your hand

however steadfast or earnest your love..
(I think
vengeance or revenge
is a human weakness
hence why those humans that wrote
that so called, \'good book\'
mention it, so often
I think, the very fact that humanity
still exists
shows
if or what, governs
our universe, has little regard for wrath
if not, that exemplar ideal
of Jesus
would be one of destruction and decimation
and not, one of forgiveness
and a willing martyr
in the name of humility and love)..
cherish your love, my friend
where possible, refute hate
