Okay, where is this cabin, and where is the blue sky Brits crave in January.
Why have I got the goose cooked already.
Feel I\'m already there.

I connect with that surrender to being alone long enough for words to arrive. The way language becomes both purpose and companion feels deeply familiar. This understands that space. Well done, my friend. 🌹🖤🙏🕯️🐦⬛

Great write, Katie! That image of being held as if you’d blow away is beautiful. It captures care as instinct, not performance. Quiet, protective, deeply felt. Thank you for sharing! 🌹🖤🙏🕯️🐦⬛

Katie I loved the line: \"I was far from home But the blue of the sky followed me\" A lovely journey either literally or metaphorically

Nicely done. Your poem captures the joy of reunion after a period of separation, highlighting themes of love, longing, and intimacy. The subject matter focuses on the physical and emotional aspects of their relationship, emphasizing the sweetness of affection and the pain of parting.

They do say, new year, new change.
Some hit the gym, some hit the road never to return.
This is why you should never totally rely on anyone.

This is a very dark and very sad, the poet explores feelings of neglect and abandonment, as well as a plea for rekindling the lost connection. It reflects on the pain of being sidelined and the desire for reconciliation in a relationship that has become strained.

They say payback is a bitch and so it is at times. A most entertaining tale of childhood and its pranks. We as adults seem to miss those more carefree days when emotions could be expressed more freely and were written off as just being young and foolish. Today I have to vent those feelings in poetry. Well done Katie

Katie, this is reflective and compassionate. You move through suffering without turning away, then choose empathy and acceptance as acts of defiance. By the end, unity feels hard-won and hopeful. Thoughtful, sincere work. Happy New Year to you! 🌹🖤🙏🕯️🐦⬛
