Rabbit Hole

WOW SILVER ~ This is awesome ~ you have broken new ground and I absolutely loved your singing / recitation of your lovely poem. It gave it a new dimension. I have always loved Alice in Wonderland ever since I read it as a Child. I can always identify with the MAD MEN she meets. The Mad Hatter (my fave !) Doormouse (so sleepy) White Rabbit (always late) and Tweedle Dum & Tweedle Dee etc. They also resemble many of the people I work with. I think Alice is my perfect Girl and I fall in love with her every time ~ Alice in Wonderland comes up. Thanks for sharing ~ Yours BRIAN

Cry and Die- warning has cursing

Ooooooooooh SILVER a lot of angst in this poem. I know that poetry is cathartic - so I hope by writing this poem (and the fact that others are reading it and sharing your pain) will help to ease it. Thinking of you - BRIAN

Russian Roulette

WOW WOLF - A very powerful and challenging poem. We all tempt fate from time to time and - paradoxically - playing with fire can be very cathartic. But remember those who play with fire often get burned and some alas get burned to death. Crematorium - Moratorium. Thanks for daring to share - BRIAN

Loveless

Beautiful. Although I lost my in a much different way its still all the same. My man of 15 years just died from a brain stem stroke and I struggle every day, every waking moment is a struggle for me. One day you will find your true love. They wont replace this person because you will never love two people in the same way but thats not to say you wont love them as much or even more.

BEAUTIFUL POEM - SILVER - Thanks for sharing. Girl on Girl bonding is very special and my Sister tells me when it ends it leaves such a void. Your enduing expresses this beautifully "The spaces where she's been - feel empty and loveless - loveless". Think of you and if it's possible i hope you will find a new lover very very soon. Memories

WELCOME SILVERWOLF (Beautiful pen name) Thanks you for a perfect opening poem but so so sad. As we progress through life we meet someone who is perfect for us and then (for whatever reason) they disappear from our lives. Their memory is our LIGHT their absence is our DARKNESS. Your winsome poem describes this experience and its consequences perfectly. Your first stanza recalls perfectly all the memories you shared with a perfect friend. I can empathise with the opening line of your second stanza "It's so hard to forget you" in my experience it's impossible ! I love the reference to the "Night Blooming Cereus Flower" beautiful and rare to describe the quality of your friendship. "Not just stunning but show-stopping - amazing .......! This is a beautiful heartrending poem thanks for sharing. Please write more ! BRIAN
