WOW SILVER ~ This is awesome ~ you have broken new ground and I absolutely loved your singing / recitation of your lovely poem. It gave it a new dimension. I have always loved Alice in Wonderland ever since I read it as a Child. I can always identify with the MAD MEN she meets. The Mad Hatter (my fave !) Doormouse (so sleepy) White Rabbit (always late) and Tweedle Dum & Tweedle Dee etc. They also resemble many of the people I work with. I think Alice is my perfect Girl and I fall in love with her every time ~ Alice in Wonderland comes up. Thanks for sharing ~ Yours BRIAN

Beautiful. Although I lost my in a much different way its still all the same. My man of 15 years just died from a brain stem stroke and I struggle every day, every waking moment is a struggle for me. One day you will find your true love. They wont replace this person because you will never love two people in the same way but thats not to say you wont love them as much or even more.

Your winsome poem describes this experience and its consequences perfectly. Your first stanza recalls perfectly all the memories you shared with a perfect friend. I can empathise with the opening line of your second stanza "It's so hard to forget you" in my experience it's impossible ! I love the reference to the "Night Blooming Cereus Flower" beautiful and rare to describe the quality of your friendship. "Not just stunning but show-stopping - amazing .......!
