A Chemical Reaction

A very profound poem. Do no apologize for your writing. Apparently it helps unload a heavy heart. Keep writing every day when you can. Journaling is good for our souls as well as praying. ~ Sonia

Thanks SILVER for a well written poem. Love the concept of HAWK and IZZI KAT ! I do call some of the Ladies on MPS "SISTER" but never LITTLE SIS (WOULDN'T DARE !) I'm 33 but when I was young we didn't have mobiles so when my GF's moved away communication was difficult (almost impossible !). You have mobiles and you don't have to let each other GO ~ However as you say (and it's happens !) "He's fading and I'm slipping away" Yours BRIAN Please check my poem ~ Thanks B.

You nailed it. If there are problems we can all decide to ignore them, sit around and complain or do something . If Paul Revere chose not to ride would it all be the same? I like the butterfly analogy.

Thanks SILVER for a great poem of hope and perseverance ! This is my experience too. If I stand firm in times of adversity I will survive the flames and like PHOENIX I will rise again ~ from the ashes of defeat and despair ~ BRIAN

Butterfly

Thanks for sharing SILVER ~ this a very beautiful poem but also a very challenging one. Wherever I go in the World in Spring and Summer there are always Butterflies in a vast range of size and colour ~ but all beautiful Their beauty and ephemeral nature does give us joy and wonder. I know many people who are just like butterflies who by their very presence bring love ~ joy ~ peace ! What a World if we were all Butterflies. But (as you indicate) everywhere I go there are also "starving and ravenous monsters" going about seeking whom they may devour ~ motivated by Satan himself. You and I can make a difference by being Butterflies in all we do and seeking to encourage others to be Butterflies as well ! Thanks for caring and sharing ~ Yours BRIAN

I absolutely love this poem! It would be so amazing if we could just all put our differences aside and instead, value each other for what makes us "different". This is by far, one of the BEST poems that I've seen on here! Much love - jaz 💘

Thanks SILVER ~ What you describe is true for all of us ~ M & F ~ because we all have limits ! Modern life often pushes us over them. M & F react in different ways ! In my experience as a Student Councillor ~ Females often self-harm. So do Males but more sacrificially by driving when drunk or stoned or jumping off railway bridges or buildings ! Thanks for sharing ~ Yours BRIAN

THANKS SILVER ~ For sharing your experience and fears. My DAD is a kind Man so I can sympathize but not empathize because I have never had such an experience. It must be awful to live in fear of the one who should love you most ~ but is so so destructive. Thinking of you and praying for you ~ Yours BRIAN
