जिसका सजदा किया वो ख़ुदा ही न था

Vimal, I\'ve known seasons where certainty slipped through my fingers and things I trusted turned out to be far less solid than I believed. This speaks to that experience with remarkable honesty. Beneath the sorrow, I also hear someone wrestling fiercely with truth, and that gave the poem real weight for me. Wonderful write, my friend. 🌹🖤🙏🕯️🐦‍⬛

Couplets of duality where there appears conflict sometimes finding resolution and often not. Well done Vimal

होली है.....
Tristan Robert Lange said:

My friend, I love how welcoming this feels. The playful chasing, the sweets, the colors, the laughter…and then the gentle challenge to those standing apart to come join the celebration. It captures not just a festival, but a spirit of community. Lovely work, Vimal. 🌹🖤🙏🕯️🐦‍⬛

This poem is full of cultural foods and tradition even the wording is most traditional of the land. I loved this piece and its presentation itself was poetic a fave

कुत्ते वालों से
Tristan Robert Lange said:

Vimal, this is a sharp, layered, and deeply provocative social critique. The repeated phrase “कुत्ते वाले” becomes more than a literal reference...it transforms into a symbol of class signaling, performative modernity, and distorted social priorities. What gives the poem its real force, though, is that beneath the satire is genuine grief for abandoned children, hunger, illiteracy, and forgotten people. And your author’s note clarifies beautifully that the poem is not anti-animal, but rather a painful question about what societies visibly reward while other suffering remains unseen. “क्या इंसान इतना गिर गया है / या कुत्ता इतना उठ गया है?” is especially haunting because it refuses easy answers. Courageous and deeply thought-provoking work, my friend. 🌹🖤🙏🕯️🐦‍⬛

I love how you use discomfort to present a message and cause thought. I have been a dog owner and I love dogs but even there I have no room for all the stray dogs that live around. I love individuals (I can not say society) I can not take care of all the poor around me. Yet to say one loves but not demonstrate it is a hypocrisy. My wife gives to both people and dogs she is the true lover taking care of all living things around her.

रौशनी की ओर
Tristan Robert Lange said:

Vimal…this carries such fierce resilience through the pain. Even after betrayal, burial, cruelty, and isolation, the poem keeps moving toward light instead of surrendering to darkness. “सामने मुझको अब रौशनी दिख रही है” lands beautifully after everything before it. Powerful work, my friend. 🌹🖤🙏🕯️

Vimal, wow…there’s such quiet devastation in this, my friend. The poem carries that painful tension where connection exists emotionally even when life never fully allows it to become what the heart wanted. It feels restrained, but deeply wounded underneath. Beautiful work. 🌹🖤🙏🕯️🐦‍⬛

Vimal…this feels devastatingly theatrical in the best way possible…like love itself being dragged into the public square and sacrificed before witnesses who do nothing but watch. The repeated return to “कि चौराहे पे…” gives the poem the feeling of a mournful procession. Deeply moving work, my friend. 🌹🖤🙏🕯️🐦‍⬛

Vimal, I appreciated how this approaches faith, identity, and nationhood through shared humanity rather than separation. The poem keeps returning to compassion, coexistence, and mutual care instead of rivalry, and that gives it a real warmth throughout. Powerful piece, my friend. 🌹🖤🙏🕯️🐦‍⬛

Vimal, this reads like a heartfelt confession shaped by loss, tenderness, and emotional exhaustion. Broken dreams, helplessness before fate, misunderstood depth, and enduring affection all flow together into something intimate and quietly heartbreaking. Beautiful piece, my friend. 🌹🖤🙏🕯️🐦‍⬛

Vimal, the combination of poem and reflection creates something far bigger than political commentary alone. It becomes a portrait of collective fatigue…leaders rising and falling while ordinary people remain hungry, unheard, and emotionally worn down by promises that never fully arrive. Powerful and deeply human work, my friend. 🌹🖤🙏🕯️🐦‍⬛

Political, historical, it speaks to the needs of the people and if reduced to an individual the needs are the same, air, water, food, shelter the primary needs that must be addressed before others can be. A lovely write
