Few are aware how important it is for a mom to see and hold her baby, even if the baby is not alive. You suffered a mishap, then had to suffer someone's negligence, then the flashbacks that continue to hurt. My heart goes out to you. Nice read.

A lady I know called hr next baby (delivered fine at full-term) her SECOND BABY and she never forgot her "first born" who miscarried at 5 months. A six month fetus is a BABY and to dispose of the Baby as "garbage" is

The structure of your poem is perfect and the subject a lovely blend of agony (lime) and ecstasy (tequila). Love poetry is very cathartic and this poem helped me to "come to terms" with all the girls I've Loved and Lost. I'm 33 maybe I should have married one of them ~ what do you think' ? Most Ladies I know are "ready" for Marriage at 23 but at that age most Men are still boys ! Loved the Faded Rose visual ~ perfecct. Yours BRIAN
