THANKS ROBERTO ~ As usual an elegant poem (like the italic script !) full of sagacity and reminiscences ! My childhood memories (raised in Liverpool ~ no mean City) are always the most vivid ! S1. Close encounter of the turtle kind. S2. Noted the gorgeousness of its brown & yellow shell suit. S3. You worried about it crossing the road ~ turtles are slow ! S4. It walked anyway ~ turtle free spirit ! S5. You scared it with your size but (like you) it was determined to experience life.
