Thanks. No dash because the meaning IS the magic. They\'re not two
separate things. For brevity\'s sake I omitted the IS.

Appreciate the commenting.

I have 4, and I hate to brag, but Braden tests as genius. As a 7 year old, he’s hard to stay ahead of. He loves mechanical things and can do the most complex Lego arrangements that leave me wanting…

Kurt,

• “Braden’s Song”
I suppose one can win the game but not beat it.

A very astute grandson.
The apple doesn\'t fall far from the tree.

Kurt,

• “Creation’s Tears”

Before I read your masterfully scripted poem this morning, I heard the devastating news about the deadly massive tornadoes. It truly saddened me . Each time something like this happens, it makes me appreciate my life more…no matter the pain and the heartaches.

…and I believe God is still crying, IMHO; this also saddens me.

I DO appreciate your poetry more and more each day. Thank you for sharing.

It is true they were fought in the name of God but we know it was really fought for wealth power and land or in modern times oil and minerals. Great write though if only the wars could be decided more sensibly say on a chess board.

Beautiful. A poem that deserves such a great title. You\'ve made me feel so much, in not so many words; you should be proud of your work, and write many more.

Kurt,

So true and spot on are your words…
‘—the soap of despair’.
Definitely cannot ‘wash away loneliness’.
You have beautifully expressed that feeling of loneliness. The best we can do is to carry on and do our best with whatever is upon the path we must travel.

Thank you for sharing your amazing poetry. It’s such a pleasure to read whatever you ink. There’s so much to learn from you, my dear Poet.

Laura🌻

P.S.-I have so much admiration and respect for our soldiers. We cannot forget the sacrifices they make for us so that we can to be ‘Safe In Our Beds’.

Blind Side
L. B. Mek said:

yup, I too have felt
a vacation\'s blindsided, curse..
she left, for a few weeks
relaxed in Canada
and I, barely got a few calls
for a quickly whispered, hello
upon her return
she delivered her loud and clear
farewell..
decades later, and I\'m no longer bitter
I just hope, she\'s doing well
(a write I could relate with easily, Kurt
thanks for sharing)
