Burlington Bertie got any gold? I\'m sure there\'s some in Burlington Shopping Arcade in London. Very posh. you can even have your shoes cleaned by a valet sort of person - for a price!

Love the way you took my imagination and wove a mystery of lost imaginings, half touched victories and sorrow as i read on.

Got a headache now, ... dunno what it was all about really but it was a damned good read.

So many layers to this.
I was drawn to the title as I was writing about a spix macaw and the golden branches it would perch upon.

A great jazz musician said that he lived for his mistakes. When i\'m soloing and make a mistake i have to recover which i can do but.... that mistake made me go places i would never have thought about going. I created music beyond my creative mind.
Does this happen to you with your painting?

Only a poet with your talent and pen can wait and watch the night turn into daybreak. You shoo the night away , whether in metaphor or real, all so superbly in a cool creative way I enjoyed. Kudos.

Morning is with us - but it is still dark!

That is a great artwork, I have seen it before and it always brings a smile to my face.
( My younger granddaughter has just started her six months University studies in Milan and she has sent me a picture of the statue of Leonardo da Vinci that is in that wonderful city).
