MY SPIRIT

Michael,
No apologies necessary! Your writes are worth repeating! Your “spirit” write just reminded me to order a bottle of it for my hubby. No coal in his stocking this year!
Love the painting!

Michael,
MAGNIFICENCE at its best!
Your command of the language and your ability to convey a message with it is extraordinary and a beautiful painting to go along with it!

P.S. - I love your “Ednet” form!

You itching and scratching M? I am a bit. Not the dreaded urticaria, when it\'s very chilly. I only get it slightly.
If it\'s not due to the weather, I must have fleas! One suggestion says \'Avoid triggers\'. I will never get out the front door. Doh!

A fine write and pic M. It\'s all right for some folk, surtouting \"mostly\". I wondered what he was up to, until I looked up the word!
The pic fits the poem - done on purpose?

Michael,
I enjoyed reading the six couplets. I’m especially fond of the third one for personal reasons!
Each time I see one of your beautiful village paintings, I fondly remember the small Italian village my parents came from!

you have certainly captured a lot of peoples frustrations.. I certainly share some of them.. in particular the very short memory much of Europe now seems to have in respect of what role the UK played in ensuring that there was a future for most of them and the price the UK paid in blood and fiscal terms... my rant is over..

Oohh as I say, the PM and hubby are often at a church only 2 miles from me, when not in Brussels, etc. Her constituency is fairly local to me.
Have to have a chin-wag with her one Sunday over coffee after church. But how? Goldie says \'If their lips move, they lie\' Doh!

The frustrations of the process are well achieved in your words Michael. Personally I voted to stay but the will of democracy said leave and for those who died to give us the vote I always abide by the decisions.
You are right in that those in parliament seem to want to remain, they should be doing the will of the people and not trying to satisfy their own personal beliefs.

Whatever your views about Brexit, those who voted to leave the EU are ignored by Parliament which is almost entirely pro Europe in make up and totally incompetent in progressing the aim of leaving. The only members of Parliament who profess to support Brexit, and who are at best buffoons of the first order, do no favours in representing the views of the majority who voted to leave. These short pieces seek to point out the frustrations of this undemocratic process.
