We don\'t wish harm or misfortune on many people but.... we have our \'pet\' dislikes.
Yet sometimes we might have sympathy, then lose it again, when they recover.
Pet dislikes? What am I doing disliking our piggies (similar to those in my pic)?

Good write M.
Aww, I usually save spiders, but I may swat a swap at times.
The \'Spitting Image\' new muppet/pupet of Boris is not too different from him in person! I don\'t mean mockingly. They\'ve just overdone the mop of hair.

That\'s nothing short of excellent!
a wasp came a buzzin around
makin that \'orrible sound
so i folded my jotter
to a nifty lil swatter
and smote it down to the ground
a spider dangled down from the ceiling
gave me that hackles up feeling
all shakin with nerves
a blow i then served
by the look of it the bugger aint healin

I got the above off of saveasyllable.net.
There were millions of syllables there, most of them abused. I felt so sorry for these guys I decided to take them home. I\'m going to teach them to syllabify. - Phil A.

GOOD FRIDAY - Uncle Mike - Angela here - no clinic this Morning so perusing MPS @ Leisure ! Love the the GLENIT reminded me of an old DITTY
A Man lay down by a SEWER
And by that SEWER died
And at the Coroners inquest
They called it SEWER~SIDE !
Ahhhhhhh SYLLABLES one of our crieria for a GOOD ODE (A*) is that it should be RECITEABLE ! Brian & I are Performance Poets and encourage *Poetry Readings*. Rhyming & Syllabusism goes back to the ORAL Tradition which spawned Good RHYME & Good RHYTHM We get lots of Good Rhyme on MPS but many MPS ODES lack Rhythm. Some MPS Member are Humble enough to ask Brian for Help and the problem is nearly always Poetic Structure & Rhythm. His advice is to READ IT OUT LOUD and count & adjust the Syllables. Someone like the talented Pam Ayres (whom we have discussed Performance Poetry with) admits she stretches (more syllables) & contracts (less syllables) words in her Poetry Concerts - To make the Poems scan ! Brian & I try to indcate *lengthening & contracting of WORDS* when we publish in MPS and elsewhere. Thanks for reminding US of the *Importance of Being Metric !*
Blessings & Peace to You & Yours
Love Angela - Brian - Smokey πππ
