Yes, i\'ll go along with your words today 100%.
All the better if it also transports each readers mind too. Preferably somewhere close to where the author\'s mind found itself.

THE OXFORD COMMA

The easiest one I can think of is the following:

I was accompanied by my siblings, Fred and Maud.(Fred and Maud are my siblings names)

I was accompanied by my siblings, Fred, and Maud. ( Fred and Maud were in addition to my siblings)

BRIAN HERE ~ Bon Soir Mon Oncle Mike ~ love the Goash ~ Jug o* Flowers. Thanks for the Grammar Lesson Mike - but it still need to be explained !

Three European Countries in the EU are:
France, Italy, and Spain (with Oxford Comma ~ second comma)
France, Italy and Spain (without Oxford comma)
Both sentences are acceptable because neither is ambiguous !

It is our Church Mens Breakfast tomorrow so another example:
MENU ~ Bacon and Eggs and Toast ~ This would suggest the
toast is served integral with the B & E and not for Marmalade !
MENU ~ Bacon and Eggs, and Toast ~ with the Oxford comma
indicates the toast is served separate and could be marmaladed ~ OK !
In this case the OXFORD COMMA avoids the ambiguity ~ OK

Thanks for raising ~ American English tends to use the Oxford Comma
which President Trump (USA UBER ALLES) calls the Harvard Comma !

Blessings & Peace to You & Yours

A fine write and pic M. Is that the Cambridge comma at \'though (although), or am I just making that up?!
Does such a comma exist? Does Miss Berles know? Is she upset that letters or syllables are omitted, e.g . e\'en for even?!

When you\'re driving a car if no other cars are around why bother to indicate? Well I would say, apart from complying with the law, it\'s a good habit to get into. The same logic, I would argue, applies to the use of the Oxford comma.

\\remember that song by johnathin king back in the 60\'s. Your piece today brought it to mind.

Yes, lovely write and pic M. I was on a country walk - trees were bare. Then it occurred to me - of course they are, it\'s Winter. Doh! Though relatively mild day.
How\'s that itching? Does Miss Berles suffer from it too, or has she got fleas?

BUENAS DIAS TIO MIKE ! Love the picture ~ reminds me of Friends of OURS (Owen & Blodwyn) who always have their SHEEP DOG (also called Fido !) sleeping between them in their bed ! They put Him in the kennels on a Friday Night so Fred gets his conjugal rights ! Love the Poem ~ it has multiresponsitivity. My answer would be *A Bottle of Single Malt when Hogmany is still a Year awa* !*
