Who took my heart?
Anna said:

Sorry it took me so long to check out your own "who took my heart".
Oh but wow, it's so nicely written! Very cute! I especially adore how you took a literal sense to stealing someone's heart :)

15 Amendments to the Constitution of our minds
SauravRHS said:

I think that our minds get adjusted to what we see... I didn't mean the above changes to be sudden... I meant that if things were like that from the beginning then would it change anything? The answer is no, because our minds would get adjusted to what we see... For example, in the Harry Potter series the boy is suddenly whisked into a world of magic and the boy's mind gets adjusted. He starts believing that magic is real... So I say our minds are ignorant. They see what they are shown... They should look beyond everything and find out the real truth...

Very interesting contemplation, amusing and thought-provoking! I enjoyed it. It would change if 'twas all disordered like that, seems to little me. If we alter or disrupt the present order it changes the world around us, doesn't it? Yet your conclusion seems to indicate that it is only our perception that makes everything worth its present value. Hmmm. I dunno. Just my two bits at the moment.

Indeed! I like it VERY well,....excepting for taking the Lord's name in vain in the first words of the last line of the first stanza. Delightfully depicted, so wonderfully sweetly concluding, I quite enjoyed it!

Again, very nicely expressed.....only now you remind me of the Lord's warning in Proverbs about the adulterous woman and her prey......he knows not that the dead are there, and that her guests are in the depths of hell....her house the way to death, going down to the chambers of hell....none that go unto her return again, neither take they hold of the paths of life....Anyway. just some thoughts provoked by this latest version of "It"....creepy as ever!

Ya, and dearly loving rhyming myself, I quite enjoyed it with a smile as well...it's a wonderful first footstep into the world of poetry....excellent! You might classify it under "humor" for it is amusing...and silly...and delightfully rhyming!

Almost reminiscent that.....every man is tempted when he is drawn away of his own lust and enticed; then when lust has conceived it brings forth sin, and sin, when it is finished, brings forth death....like man runs unwittingly to his own destruction. Creepy.

Elysium
Cheeky Missy said:

Hmm. Thank you for your helpful author's comment...it made the poem more understandable. The image with it is excellent. However, I beg to differ....heaven is no imaginary place to make stories of...it is all too real, where God dwells. As He says, Heaven is My throne and earth is My footstool.... God's Word the Bible tells us all we can know about it, so far as I know.

Ya, I love how you took the term and made such use of it...clever and delightful too. I love the adorable pair pictured at the top, and enjoyed the symbolism and characterization of friendship as a sailing vessel, with all its equipage and etc.

A sweet test, a sweet game
Dolphine29 said:

C'est trés vrai. It is very true. I guess that in loving, most of us expect to feel the same intensity back to us or as close to the feeling towards our object or desire. But I it is my own idea, that we should not wait to come back to us as it can come naturally, but just enjoy to give what we want with love.
Best
