I have never been a crowd follower the sheep mentality drives me insane. Sadly thou i fear we are entering what is going to be a unstable and very frighting period in our history, and for sure social injustice is only going to get worse. A great piece of writing, raising issues we should all pay attention to you.

I took this literally the first read then I wondered about metaphor. Many times we suffer other times of cuts rather than our literal hand. Mind wandering again

At least it\'s a minor abrasion at this rate, nothing like the paring knife through my fingertip, piecing from one side to the other and leaving actual scars. Beautifully eloquent in its rendering with excellent imagery and a haunting poignancy, it\'s winsome to boot. Thank you for sharing.

A entertaining read with a serious message, that over time things will heal, but there will always be another cut at sometime, really enjoyed this one.

Paper cuts are some of the most painful. Sting like hell. This appears to be deeper and describes the healing process. The all important healing process. Hopefully no scars will be left. Great description here Tristen. Have a happy Wednesday.

I perhaps wouldn\'t go as far as to call them devilish notes, but they certainly have dark undertones! The piano, while basic, is a hauntingly beautiful instrument.

A fine write T. Though my style is mainly to \'ascend\'. Yet we\'re \'heavier\' at some seasons, such as Lent, and not all the Psalms are praise-y in all their verses.

And yet it is more than social justice, big as that is as far as issues go, of a cosmological and existential dilemma… some are aware, others chose to ignore the signs.

Several times in history such events have happened and with differing outcomes. Good or bad, right or wrong the potential for change toward safety or over a cliff and we will have to wait to see. A great write one should never follow the crowd in doing wrong. One voice can make a difference

Come, come, take a second look and see the darling flakes all jostling as they descend impetuously, the silence of falling snow very much alive and listening, listening without a voice to break the almost hallowed silence which half seems to beg a reverence even while we trudge in lonely naught to our tasks. [I\'m dreadfully overtired and rambling, please forgive me.]
Exquisite and rendered to effect with a painful poignancy and such delicious imagery. Thank you, thank you for sharing.

How heartfelt is this poem Tristen. The silence and coldness felt amid the crystal beauty.

Snowflakes are so delicate yet the mood in this poem hangs heavy. Have a wonderful Sunday.

Once again the format enhances the feel of falling snow and its blanketing of the ground as it piles higher. The metaphor works well and the feeling of being abandoned and isolated in the masses is clear to me. Snow is deafening in its silence.
