They used to fell oak trees to build warships... I even heard a story that the New Forest in U.K. was planted for that purpose.
Nowadays of course we have many green issues in our hearts and i will stand with you to protect an oak tree.
Beyond this my recent \'pure as driven\' takes in the issue of protecting our wonderful planet, our home, from the everyday abuse of the mindless.
Excellent poetry from you with a noble theme.

God is with us all for ever though there are those who it appears wish to use gods name to proclaim a \'holier than thou\' presence among us by spouting quasi religious mumbo-jumbo on MPS. Jesus was \'of the people, for the people\' to use a modern day phrase not an elitist.
