Very true Classicmister, those in power only talk about making things better and those who can do something about it do not want to leave their ivory towers.

Well crafted dear poet
The words so well played
They flew as gentle river but the thoughts they make are strong and clear
I hope man realises and owns his mistake before it’s too late

This needs to be said time and again before we truly see actions making a cure.
Lets not forget the other pollutions which are corrupting our planet. For example the huge island of plastic mid atlantic and the harm plastics do to our undersea wildlife.

Could be...I\'m not sure...but fate or not, your portrait is fair comment on the randomness of the way a life goes.

Thanks for responding LBM - I agree his symphonies are timeless although he was better known in his day as a conductor - At ten he wrote more symphonies the Beethoven though he never finished his tenth but well worth a listen. John

The Census
Doggerel Dave said:
Is nothing sacred ? Wot about my privacy?
Actually never had any problem with the census, always regarded it my civic duty.
However as disparities between rich and poor increase, as particularly Anglophone countries, despite all this information gathered, seem increasingly incompetent or unwilling to look at the population as a society rather than an economy… no got to put a stop to this, it’s becoming a rant….
A skilled poetic summary/explanation of a census, Cmaster. (no error)

A harmless little hobby you have there Cmister, all neatly advocated for with your characteristic poetic skill.
However why stop there? Why not back to quills (provided no permanent harm befalls the donor)?
But for me, with handwriting which more closely resembles hieroglyphics than anything else plus irrational spelling, the keyboard word processor and spell checker couldn’t come quickly enough…
Good try, but I ain’t going there…
