Watching the video reminded so much of watching Gene Kelly\'s street dance in \"Singin\' In the Rain\". These five lines are pure joy, and to see these folks dancing to nature\'s music is a treat. Thank you for the happy thought of the day.

Nature\'s Anger Tanka.
Doggerel Dave said:

The personification of nature
Is really just shifting the blame.
No need this cursing of a creator -
Humans just multiplied and came.

Weather – there’s a lot of it about, Andy……

That video - one of the most enlivening things I\'ve seen in a while (beginning to think I don\'t get out enough)

We Met On A Crossing.
Doggerel Dave said:

That memory of the seasons
Keep tight, as it will fade with time.
Weather constant for all regions;
To each place its own special clime…….

Possible? Perhaps – Here on the east coast of Oz, the forecast is for a continuation of the La Nina event which has kept us damp (read bloody wet) for months now. In East Africa a long standing drought….

Family Meeting.
Doggerel Dave said:

Ah, a good family dynamic
Will be security for you.
For some home life can be tragic;
Luck should be better for them too….

That, however should not stop you from having a great time. It\'s not up to any one person to save the world.

Your attitude to each day is so inspiring dear Andy --- being grateful will bring us the best experience. Thank you for sharing your thoughts and the music.

Experience.
Doggerel Dave said:

What have you got if not experience?
A practice proven and is tried and true:
Ignore it and you have incompetence;
This a warning to me rather than you.

Fiery Fred.
Doggerel Dave said:

With a tribute to Fred Trueman,
A tale of cricket at that time,
You writ a good ‘un as a fan -
And also a rattling good rhyme.

Always knew you had it in you, Andy. Send them rhymes flying down… 🙂 A rattling good yarn too.

What does a cricket have to do with \"Cricket?\" Why isn\'t it called \"Wickets?\" Why is he called a \"Bowler\" when he throws the ball.
Too many questions about this game.
I had no idea what your poem was about, except Cricket. I did enjoy reading it though. - Phil A.

Innocence.
Bella Shepard said:

Such a beautiful description of the voyage of discovery for a young child. Life does seem to age us quickly, but I\'ve found as successive grandchildren have come along, 10 in all, each time I have been able to relive that innocence through their eyes. I also love the video, a young man who takes his trumpet playing seriously.

Doggerel Dave said:

Reckon socialisation buggers it
And it’s conformity which has the say
When individuality has to pit
Itself against others in the games all play.

The kid described with great truth there, Andy.
