L. B. Mek said:

\'The lawns so green
Surrounded by the wonder,
The wonder of Nature.
The trees and bushes
Bringing delight to my sight.\'
this is beautiful
are those clouds for real?
so majestic and tranquil,
your write took me back to my football days,
when we would spend an entire day playing, and then just lay on the grass
and watch the clouds, wordlessly
sharing that moment of serenity...
a wonderful read Andy and the energy of the music goes with it so well

A fine write and pic Gold.
Erm, I\'m not envious. We have rural or semi-rural areas about 2 miles from home, and a woodland about 1 mile away.

Had to Google Dowlish Wake....... I wish you wouldn\'t do this to me, Andy - I may have been in Australia for a long time now, but I still have feelings for the Old Country, you know....It looked great, plus croquet - you almost make me envious (no, correct that - you DO make me envious - for a little while!)
Lovely nostalgic write.

Our own wonderful land. It\'s the reason why i go for my drives, to be out there taking pleasure from what fills my senses.
A timely reminder from you to get out into the country air before the chill arrives.

There\'s something about a river, probably it\'s steady permanent presence. That Avon has been there a long long time and seen many things. So it\'s natural to relax by your river and enter your spiritual thoughts, It\'s good that you have that relationship and reassurance for your travel along your path... your way.

Yes I agree but to be fair... look what unforseen covid has done to western economies and the steps needed to be taken.... blame bloody CHINA who dont give a flying fk about buggering up the economy.

Did anybody really think that those HUGE handouts by the UK gov through the pandemic would not have a HUGE knock on effect? Or would it have been better for the gov to have not made hand-outs and left the NI stamp as it is?

Reality BITES! LOL
