Into The New Light.

A really thoughtful gift. Something which will remind them of a really good neighbor and friend. Moreover such a piece, framed and wallhung is a constant reminder to have faith in human nature.... especially if one\'s new neighbors leave a little to be desired.

wow, just amazes me there are still neighbours
that have the time to build meaningful relationships
in this chaotic and socially, disconnected modernity..
another wonderfully wholesome reading treat, Andy
thanks for sharing, hope you have a great weekend

That place is often where i dream. It can be todays world, my yesteryears of even my fantasy woodland of elves and winged friends.
Great poem Goldfinch.

The Ideal Place does exist, unfortunately, it is not here where we live now.

... if only, creativity can be manifested
into a tangible existence of our everyday reality
where we can freely share it, with those
who lack it...
not sure if I connected with your write
or interpreted your message
as you would have wanted, but still
thanks for the intriguing read, my friend

Busy day, Tis ok! You just have to write two, for the one you missed!
Or say heck with it, and give it a goodbye kiss

Do I Qualify?
dusk arising said:

Will your back and legs allow you to get in and out of a low down sports car. Will your eyesight cope with the reduced view of the road, can your hair stand the loss with all that high speed wind passing through it and your heart, will it stand up to the near misses when other motorists dont see you cos you travelling so fast.

But what a way to go eh?

I\'m sure the sales person was too tactful, too circumspect really Andy, so he substituted three questions for what could have been covered by one:
\"Have you upped your personal life insurance to ensure your wife can continue to live in the manner to which she has become accustomed?\"
I note he was young....he will harden up eventually.
Got a real visual of that car yard. Glad I don\'t have that torment anymore.

Where Did The Time Go?
L. B. Mek said:

\'Shower needed,
Shower done.
Then those little things happened,
Struggled to put leg in trousers,
Cereal container empty
So refilled it,\'
\'It was one of those days,
Those days where time flies by.
Yes I am retired and should have time,
But what happened to yesterday!
Every day I write poems,
But not yesterday,\'
its ok Andy, in my mind it was meant to be
since the poem you shared today
was worth waiting for, even if our loss
became your inspiration, in the end...
such a relatable wording of that common fear
where we all realise, today is yesterday\'s tomorrow
and we\'re still waiting to catch up, with it
while the clock, ticks its way past midnight
too quickly, once again...
a great read, my friend

Happens to me often enough , Andy. Even with the task list, half the items get carried forward to the next...
It\'s cool - I don\'t usually fall back on the thought that the World just keeps on turning, but here I think It\'s relevant.
