sadly.. there are more of these whistle blowers in every town across the land... .. sad is the fact that no one sets out in life to become homeless, to develop an addiction or to develop a mental illness in any of its many forms.... there are of course many other reasons for homelessness... none of them happy ones....... Nicely captured and shared GF60...

Also - I see some regular Big Issue sellers. Some look really well. Not that they have to look down-trodden. But are they all genuine?

Ahh, a touching write Gold.
hey, I know him too, I reckon. Yep, he burst into tears too when I met him. Only cos I started singing to his tin whistle music! heehee.
Why did I have to turn up and spoil it all?
You back from that Battle of Balaclava Reunion - Oct 25th (1854)?

Ahhhh so you are a self-confessed PEDANT = One who insists on strict observations of rules & details in presenting KNOWLEDGE ! Brian has noted this and instructed me to tell you *He will be much more careful in future when pennining ODES replete with Science or other branches of KNOWLEDGE !* He has already been accused (wrongly) of misinformation on this site and He would hate to incur the wrath of a Friend ! Angela & Brian here ~ Good afternoon Uncle Andy ~ We love JACQUELINE a very powerful and soul stirring cellist ~ especially with Daniel conducting ! Thanks again for the very eclectic range of music you share with us ! Ripples in a stream is an apt description of our lives. Close together in the excitement & experience of YOUTH and then wider & slower as we age ! Middle Age is now 45 so we are a decade at least away. We have much to experience (and much to learn ?) as we anticipate Married Life (can two really life as cheaply as ONE ?) and (DV) a Family of our own. We have been assured (as a Couple) that we should have no difficulty in conceiving (at the right time) !
A great PIECE and (in our opinion) an equally great POEM which has conditioned a very apposite response !
Blessings & Peace to YOU & JOYCE

Please keep on being that friend. Chemo/radiotherapy drags on inside you long after the treatments stop and there comes a time when its actually doing its worst to one\'s positivity. Please be there for her if only to make sure she\'s taking the right pills at the right time. Nausea needs to be kept at bay.
Yes, as you know, written from first hand experience.
I hope its Cheltenham oncology, a centre of excellence second only to london. Marvelous ppl there. I wrote \'an unlikely bunch\' earlier this year whilst taking I.V. chemo there.
The spirit of your piece today is wonderful and i hope encourages people who fear cancer to realise that its a disease and the person suffering it is still the same person, the same neighbour, the same friend, mum, dad, sister or brother and we all need to talk about it and anything..... I make a point of breaking the ice with a stranger in the waiting room on every visit, to talk about anything, puts people at ease i hope.

ANGELA HERE - GOOD EVENING Uncle Andy. We love the BERLIN PHIL (Musick durch Technick !) and Simon Rattle one of Europes greatest CONDUCTORS ! We also love CARMEN a Second Blessing ! WE have not posted today bcause we have been to 21st Birthday Party - 150 mile round trip ! Brian did the Driving while I sampled the RIOJA TINTA ! Love your POEM on the SUBJECT of *A Friend in need is a Friend indeed !* Because of advances in Chemo & Radiotherapy many Seniors (60+) are in REMISSION ! I get some of them in my CLINICS - They love HYDROTHERAPY it restores their DIGNITY ! I always councel them (from experience) that it is always good to take someone you know with you - to Chemo or Radiotherapy treatment - chatting about the things of Time & Sense eases the pain & anxiety.
Im disappointed BREXIT isnt done & dusted yet - so tomorrow Im fast forwarding to DEC 25 and posting CHRISTMAS MORNING please look out for it when I release it from DRAFT @ 6am ! It used to be 5pm in AUCKLAND !
Blessing & Peace to YOU & JOYCE

Love you POEM it struck a bell with all PC users ! Ive called mine some naughty words but never thrown at Wall. It has slipped off the desk once or twice but (thank GOD) it survived. Thats the advantage of Printed Circuits over VALVES !
