THANKS UNCLE ANDY ~ For a fine tribute to a fine GAME ! Because of the high points awarded (unlike SOCCER) SEVEN (for a converted TRY) and THREE for penalties & Drop Kicks which all go over the BAR scores of 100+ are not uncommon ! Whereas in SOCCER a score of 10 or more makes HISTORY ! Like the recent Cup Game between Liverpool & Arsenal (usually so defensive) after a PEN shootout Liverpool (of course) won on agregate 10 : 9 ! There is no rhyme or reason in RU results (Angela is still supporting NEW ZEALAND) NZ beat RSA we beat NZ a priori we should have beaten RSA but they hammered us ! Im glad ANGELA talked me out of paying £11,000 for a flight ~ hotel and a seat next to Prince Harry ! However we had a Wedding in the Peak District on Saturday and listening to the BIG MATCH on the Car Radio would have been very third class ! So we went on FRIDAY NIGHT to the Premier Inn near DERBY and watched the Match on the BIG Screen ! There were no Springboks staying @ the Hotel so were shared the humiliation of defeat with 30 others who (mercifully ~ no Scots Welsh or Irish) were all England Supporters ! Some of the Ladies were in TEARS and none of us ordered an AMARULA ! As you say we*ll have to wait another four YEARS but at least we got a SILVER and ANGELA a BRONZE for NZ ! Poor Wales (like England in the Soccer Cup) back to the VALLEYS with a wooden love spoon !

Blessings & Peace to YOU & JOYCE

I suppose I should challenge you, Andy, to compose a poem to be set to the music of John Cage. Take a listen to his piece entitled 4\' 33\" which he composed (supposedly) in 1959, but I think he had been working on it for years. It doesn\'t really matter which version you hear they are all of equal musical prowess, however the rendering by David Tudor is the most revered.
I\'m trying not to be boastful when I say that I can actually play this piece blindfolded.

Ex animo, Alan

Ah, the unorhadox point of view against \'The First Hippie\'. Jesus would have been very proud smoking a joint on a daily basis from birth to his death. Hung upon his cross singing \'Always Look On The Bright Side Of Life\'. to believe or not to believe now that is the question. Your message is very clear in your well described poem...

Thanks UNCLE ANDY - ANGELA here ~ great 1920\'s sound to wake up to. Sounds like the PASADINA ROOF ORCHESTRA one of oue fave BANDS ! Love the Church Hall pre WW2 style dancing ! We used to have 1920s (all dressed up) era Dances in the Catholic Church Hall when I was a TEEN ! Catholics know how to enjoy themselves - Evangelicals are sometimes a little too Puritan for Girl with 50 % Spanish Blood ! Love the Poem it fits in with ours about Autumn morphing eratically into Winter ! Ive seen Brians Dad (very proud of His Garden) mowing His Lawn on Christmas Day after LUNCH ! Mad Dogs & Englishmen etc ! Brians a bit eccentric - thats why I love HIM ! Please check our Collaboration Poem on H A L L O W E E N # THANKS !

BLESSINGS & PEACE to YOU & JOYCE
