Thanks for the VIDEO ANDY ~ Lovely haunting melody ~ sung & played at 60\'s Ballad Pace Beautiful. Loved the POEM too ! having been born in 1983 ~ I missed the introduction of so so many titillating (an apt word) ~ Mini-skirts ~ Hot-pants ~ Topless Beaches and Bars ~ Cropped-tops ~ Flower-power ~ Free-love etc etc. However in the 21st Century all these things still exist and resurrect in one guise or another every Spring & Summer ! The only advantage I have is that I may live to see Man walk on Mars and even the outcome of BREXIT. Yours BRIAN

Oh lol, a fine write Gold!
I should get out more. But in some (old) quiz shows, they run down the steps, and some bobble. Bruce Forsyth always noticed it, to the point of being a bit pervy and embarrassing some women! They should reply: \'What\'s that dead hedgehog on your head?\' (his wig).

Thanks ANDY for lifting us UP to a higher PLANE ! Lovely solo piano ~ lyric & video. Love the POEM too ! The SYMBIOSIS of a good book with a background of good music is unsurpassed ~ and thank GOD it eliminates time & space. We are momentarily suspended in Paradise. I always have a little envy of people who can write so eloquently of those beautiful moments in life.

My attempts never seem to quite capture the moment or drift off lamenting the transience of it!

I do have these joyful moments. They just evade my linguistic creation!

Thanks for sharing a mindful moment.

A fine write and fine way to pass the time. I tried reading in the garden, in the shade, but lasted all of 10 minutes! We best make the most of it while it\'s here though. We may say later on: \'The sun, not seen it a while now; is it that big yellow thing in the sky?\'

THANKS ANDY ~ for your eulogy to the FAB FOUR. There is a naivety and raw Scouse ingenuousness in their early work which is why they were such an instant Universal success story ! Later they lost their cohesion because they became too famous individually ! And now their legacy is preserved by the ODD COUPLE ~ Paul & Ringo. Their LOVE SONGS were primitive but genuine ~ AMEN. \"Love me Do\" complements your poem ! Yours BRIAN & ANGELA ~ Love to JOYCE. Please check the Poem ZIMBABWE and our FUSION on AFRICA Thanks B & A !

I, too, believe Love is ethereal, not of this world. Science cannot analyze it, recreate it, or define it. True, eternal Love is a rare event, not something experienced by everyone, only a few.
You know it if you have it, miss it if you don\'t.
Well expressed, Gold. - Phil A.

What is Love?
dusk arising said:

Love suffers long and is kind; love does not envy; love does not parade itself, is not [b]puffed up; does not behave rudely, does not seek its own, is not provoked, thinks no evil; does not rejoice in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth; bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.
Love never fails. But whether there are prophecies, they will fail.

excerpt from NKJV .. I always thought this was a good description of some of loves facets.

Your words are true, it is not of this world... but would we be richer if love encompassed this world?

Ahh, I was probably in that clip. Around about that year I sort of gave up following \'Top of the Pops\'. It got trashy later on, about 1995 onwards I think!
Much singing in 1066?

THANKS ANDY ~ Thanks for including the SATIE in Classical Guitar, my favourite instrument ! I have seen & heard JOHN WILLIAMS ~ awesome ! Having been raised in Liverpool (Walker Art Gallery) I do have an appreciation of many Genres of Art. Your poem is a \"Work of Art\" ! Verse 1. Everything we see (if we move slowly) imprints on our sub-conscious ~ and when we see the same scene (on TV or in a Painting or Photo) our sun-conscious connects. That\'s how we recognise people even after tens of years ! Verse 2. Trees in Windows ~there is always more to stately Homes than initially meets the eye ~ how ingenious ! I love SH\'s one of the UK\'s infinite blessings ~ who need the rest of EUROPE ! The Towers of Eiffel & Pisa and the Gate of Brandenburg and the Parthenon would all look ugly and out of place in the UK ! Verse 3. You liked it then ??? Thanks for sharing ANDY we all enjoyed this one ~ AMEN. The symbiosis of ART & Architecture is always a Pleasure especially Gardens by Capability (might call my Son that !) Brown. Yours as always BRIAN.

Andy,

An awesome write! Your uniqueness of understanding art...whether it be paintings, music, or nature...is incredible!
Listening to the clip, reminded me of the time my son was learning to play the guitar at five years old! The first piece he learned a played for me as a surprise for Motherā€™s Day was ā€œLove Me Tenderā€! Iā€™ll never forget it!

Thank you for sharing and reminding us of this wondrous universe weā€™re fortunate enough to be part of!

Love to Joyce and you!

Great to know that us old codgers can still be gobsmakked by the beauty of natural things around us here in our own backyard of Worcestershire. Croome is on my bucket list.
Gynopodie No 1, probably Eric\'s most popular, i have recordings of by several artists on various instruments ans ensembles but it\'s at it\'s best as a solo piece as here. Gynopodies 2 and 3 are superb too being variations of 1. I seem to recollect these were written for children to learn and perform. Certainly the harmonic progressions across the three were a lesson to me and encouraged me into improv in jazz.
Excellent writing today. Love the repeat theme.

A lovely write and pic Gold. Yes, I go on mini-travels, including some art shows. At one, an artist had painted the church next to the church hall, where there exhibition was held.

I never cease to be amazed by how different artists can interpret a scene so differently and yet they can all capture the heart of the subject - this is a great write Andy and itself captures what the artist was saying through her work. It is such a shame that so many are unable to understand or appreciate art
