BRIAN HERE ~ Good Evening UNCLE STEVE ! Now Now ~ You acuse us of *Jumping the Gun* for CHRISTMAS but now You have jumped to EASTER 2021 (COVID Free ?) ~ Love the Organ Recital ! I love the Passage & the Poem. It exemplifies the infinite Love of God to the Human Race. When we read the Opening of Revelations (Letters to the Seven Churches of Asia) we see that even in the First Century the Curch was not Perfect ! If we fast forward to the 21st C its even worse. And YET God still sees the CHURCH as perfect *The Bride of Christ* You & I Steve are part of the Church *The Bride of Christ* and PRAISE GOD ~ When we all get to HEAVEN ~ CLOTHED in CHRISTS RIGHTEOUSNESS ~ We shall be CHANGED and fit to be part of the BRIDE AMEN. Angela & I are not Theologians so we dont fully understand it all BUT we do - by Faith - Believe it ALL - Because its in the BIBLE ~ AMEN

Blessings to You & Your Pious PUP !
Love in the Spirit A & B & El GATO 💛💛💛

If alacritous even exists as a word?! Alacrity does. A light-bulb \'idea\' for a word moment for me, but I didn\'t blow a fuse! lol.

Another rolling adoration you\'ve penned orchidee.
I imagine communion is more solemn alone while appreciating yourself as one participant in a celebration spanning millenia

Hark, A Herald
orchidee said:

The original hymn seems to be \'Hark, a THRILLING voice...\'. Very old, from 5th Century.
Maybe title was amended, though still relevant, to \'Hark a HERALD voice....\' On a hymn site, the latter is only found in one hymn book.

Intentional use of \'ere\' in verse 3 - not typos! Maybe symbolic (verse 4) lion, wolf, etc. It is an \'idyll\' but could also be literal, with complete harmony in nature and creatures in creation.

BRIAN HERE ~ At the End of the Day ! Thanks for the hymn ~ delightful but rather medievil ! I believe that All Christians should have a working knowledge of the Whole Bible ~ All 66 Books ~ OT (39) NT (27) Each Book - Each Chapter & Each Verse is equally precious !
Your analysis of NUMBERS (25 ~ 40) shows the meticulous detail in the Whole of Gods Creation and this included the TABERNACLE which was in essence *A Portable Church !* God leaves nothing to chance. I remember when I used to go to Tented Campos run by the *Open Bretheren* The Meeting tent would be set out for the Communion Service (Lord Table) on the Sunday Morning. The TABLE would be in the centre covered with a white cloth. The chairs were set round the Table in increasing circles so that nobody had pride of place. We had no CLERGY only ELDERS & DEACONS as indicated in the NT ! The GOBLETS for the WINE (often non-alcoholic) and the caraffe of wine and a whole loaf of bread was placed on a plate - with smaller plates to pass round the bread when it had been *broken*. Only those who were Baptized (by immersion) Believers we allowed to partake of the Bread & Wine. The meeting consisted of *spirit led* hymns (acapello) and scriptures with or without comment. A Brother was designated to give Thanks for the Bread (which was broken) divided into four & distributed ~ and likewise the Wine was decanted into four separate Goblets which were passed round. The meeting concluded with a *Short Word of Ministry* The same system was used in the Keswick Convention with thousands in attendance ! *The Tabernacle in the Lake District* ~ AMEN ! In AMERICA there are life size replicas of the TABERNACLE which are very intersting ~ as is the life size replica of NOAHS ARC in Kentucky ! Thanks for sharing a very informative Poem it refreshed my Memory ~ AMEN !
