Bad Choice

Today I chose door number 3. Laying awhile longer in bed reading poems.
I prefer taking a wander inside the word pictures of unique people.
Albeit virtually.
Thanks for letting me wander around yours 💜

A powerful read as a tribute to love - an outstanding stanza has to be number four. Well done.

\"If I have not love...\"

I have my own spirituality but I think the bible sums this up well
The Way of Love
13 If I speak in the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I am a noisy gong or a clanging cymbal. 2 And if I have aprophetic powers, and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have all faith, bso as to remove mountains, but have not love, I am nothing. 3 cIf I give away all I have, and dif I deliver up my body to be burned,1 but have not love, I gain nothing.
4 eLove is patient and fkind; love gdoes not envy or boast; it his not arrogant 5 or rude. It idoes not insist on its own way; it jis not irritable or resentful;2 6 it kdoes not rejoice at wrongdoing, but lrejoices with the truth. 7 mLove bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, eendures all things.
8 Love never ends. As for prophecies, they will pass away; as for tongues, they will cease; as for knowledge, it will pass away. 9 For nwe know in part and we prophesy in part, 10 but owhen the perfect comes, the partial will pass away. 11 When I was a child, I spoke like a child, I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child. When I became a man, I gave up childish ways. 12 For pnow we see in a mirror dimly, but qthen face to face. Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as rI have been fully known.
13 So now faith, hope, and love abide, these three; but the greatest of these is love.

The Best Way To Bike
Heartwriter said:
It is the safer way to cycle. A member of my family is a long distance rider. He had an accident and flipped over the handle bars at a high speed for a bike of course. Broke is neck in five places. His back in four. A few ribs and a hand. After a year or so he rode again. Against doctors orders. In contact pain now. However he still cycles. I think it will be the death of him.

I work with a guy who would track down old Boreas and have a few choice words, and would not leave him in peace without a signed contract for cooler weather.
Enjoyed very much.

Monday Mistake
A.H. Browning said:
My college roommates decided to set all my clocks ahead a few hours one night during my first year (this was back in the 80\'s, which is a little painful to admit)
Imagine my bewildered and dumbfounded expression when I arrive at the cafeteria to find the doors locked...
Where are all the other students???
Anyhow, they all thought it was quite hysterical when I arrived back at the room a little later... they laughed at that for a really long time. I can laugh about it now :-)
Thanks for making me smile today.

The Poem That Will Never End
A.H. Browning said:
I really like this! Thank you for that.
There is one \"thing\" that I have written that after completing three pages, I thought to myself, \"boy, I had better figure out how to end this nonsense\". It ended up being five pages long and thankfully I was able to stop after that. I had fun writing it, but I\'m not sure how to classify the writing.
Maybe one day I will post it on this site, under a different user name and while wearing a disguise...
This one made me smile... a lot.

Rising To The Day
Alex Kay said:
The first two stanzas are the weakest here, I\'d say; they feel as if you\'re attempting a poem rather than just letting it happen (\"Do, or do not, there is no try\"). I\'d suggest having a look at those again. But then the poem finds its stride after that and bursts forth with lush, loving prose for the remaining stanzas.
