This poem speaks powerfully to any parent where a child should not go before them. A mournful sadness I would wish on no one. The poem is somber, dark and at the same time carries a tone of love and missing someone that never ripened. Beautiful in the same regard it calls out to the listener.

The very vision of walking past a child\'s grave, stunningly written with emotion and all. It happened to my own mother she never did recover eventually she died young too. A very graceful piece dearest Cassie, and yes there is something much darker when they are children. Kudos. 🌹

Deep meaning here it is not what we are made of that dictates value but memories and feelings. So true Cassie said in such a wonderful metaphor.

That was such a good message. I mean you don\'t have to pay to be kind. I love talking to random strangers and I believe just a smile can bring happiness to someone\'s life. I love how you have conveyed this message. Great work

So beautiful and so fortunate to have had those last lucid moments. I visit a memory care facility once a week to do a music group, and it\'s amazing to see those eyes light up when the words of a song come back to them. They\'re still in there, waiting to be called upon. It is evident how much love went into this poem, thank you for sharing a wonderfully, personal experience. God bless you and mum!
