You have painted a picture of nature in all of its turmoil and beauty. What we, as people see as disaster is merely a cleansing of nature. She has her Waze that we do not understand, but only can admire a beautiful poem Cassie.

Empathy aplenty from the east coast of Australia, as I try to decide when to shop between downpours. The only difference may be our relative temperatures, Cassie.

Wow! Indeed, here in the Northeast of the US, we just received some much needed drain. The mood over here has been a prolonged drought and wildfires! The Delaware River looks like a babbling brook, even with the rain we just got. 😬 Indeed, nature is tempermental! So, if you get sick of the rain and can find a way, we’ll take some! πŸ€ͺ That aside, what a wonderful poem, my friend! ❀️

Oh wow! What a lovely poem. I often wonder how good photographers can click stunning pictures of perfectly everday scenes. Perhaps this poem is an example of such occurance. I read the line \'as trouser belt gave way\' again and again - just fantastic!

I have sessions of baking, I have been baking my own bread and rolls for many, many years.

The biggest problem Cassie is when I make biscuits as every time I pass the biscuit barrel I have to have another one to see if they are still alright to eat. LOL

I have often wondered about the kitchen chaos and why every pan bowl needs to be dirty. When I cook, I clean each as I go so that there is no mess at the end, but then to each their own.

It certainly was a hard life back then Cassie. When I was in senior school I used to work on Saturdays and my holidays in Victor Values, a supermarket back in the day, it was hard work but the staff and camaraderie was wonderful.

I found the poem to be visceral...crossed the bounds of cerebral and hit something beyond it. The line \"the photographer
harvests hardship in monochrome \" ... magical
