This is such a beautiful and inspiring piece, my dear friend! Seriously, I needed to read it today, Cassie. Crushed wings can still fly...there\'s hope in that. There\'s resilience. Love this poem so much. ๐ŸŒน๐Ÿ‘

The metaphor of melting snow lends a peacefulness to this contemplation of love experienced, and lost. Your phrasing is impeccable, and the sentiment of reflection is beautifully bittersweet. You always amaze and delight. Thank you!

Ooh! Weave a tale of romance so fair I must swoon, yet tendered so daintily and with such passionate endearment I swoon again. Gorgeously rendered with exquisite imagery and delicious poignancy, thank you, thank you so much for sharing. I love it!

A fine write. Really enjoyed. I have never visited that cemetery but it is on my list. Some fascinating characters buried there. Another one on my list is Pere Lachaise in Paris. I would love to see the graves of Oscar Wilde and Jim Morrison.

Oh, dearest Cassie, now I really have to find my way back to London to visit this hauntingly beautiful cemetery. Again, knowing me, I am not sure how I avoided it the first time \'round, but it is very much on my to-do list now! Thank you for the glimpse of it from your POV. A wonderful poem, friend! ๐ŸŒน๐Ÿ‘

Oh my, you have really out done yourself with this one dearest. Cassie, ive seen many types of burying sights, I\'ve also seen the catacombs up close, I have a couple of friends who\'s hobby is going to see famous ones too, here in Florence we have the British cemetery which always reminds me of home, only the rich can be buried there, and the public cemeteries look like school lockers somewhat, but what is amazing is they are lit by candle at night fake candle light but it really is a sight to see. I found this magnificent in imagery especially the angels with trumpets line. My closest cemetery to my family now in London is West Norwood. ๐ŸŒน ๐Ÿด๓ ง๓ ข๓ ฅ๓ ฎ๓ ง๓ ฟ๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡น๐ŸŒน

Bring together history, and different cultures and faiths all in a single cemetary and what better setting indeed. The mention of Pandora\'s grave despite it being a friend that was with you speaks metaphor and what better for a graveyard. Very nicely worded Cassie

So it is as creepy as pictures and descriptions of it say?! There\'s a ghostly Swains Lane on one side that I read about. I\'ve never been there myself.

The very curious thing about this piece is its timing. Nine years ago now I could not bear to think, only force myself and the rest of my family to move forward when we all felt the same, like joining Mum, who\'d died suddenly the day before. Very aptly poignant with excellent imagery, and rendered tastefully in hard-hitting brevity. Thank you for sharing. [My mother was my best friend.]
