F*ck You

I once read about a serious linguistic study of the use of the f-word in the military. The study determined that the participle (f-ing) form of the word indicated nothing other than that the next work is a noun, adjective, or verb (\"I f-ing never remember to take my f-ing hat.\"). The word added virtually no substantive meaning, tone, or emotion. The study concluded that the word was mainly a verbal signal that the speaker is one of the in-group. A significant observation was made that, when the speaker wanted to be taken seriously, they stopped using the word, like when showing some one how to load a weapon or describing an important assignment. Go figure!

It is good to release frustration rather than bottle it up in the british ...stiff upper lip ... fashion of old.

Though your words do provide ample justification, I can imagine the tone of your voice, the vehemence expressed was to anyone in earshot, equally telling of the justification of the expletive.

Enduring a similar existence here. One wonders if we are returning to the egg, preparing to be reborn? How long before helplessness sets in?

Indeed love conquers all and teaches us more and more about love itself.

Once discovered, it can be addictive (not referring to romantic love here) but where\'s the harm in that?

Ouch
Very courageous
I do love reading but when it\'s real and raw it can\'t be beat
I hope you are not as broken as the notes say
Your writing would suggest not
Superb read that goes straight for the heart

Lies are so awful. They cheat you, abuse you and place you somewhere unimportant in the liars life. When you know you are the most significant person in your partners life, to be displaced in this way is not unusually unforgivable.

I admire the way you have crafted this poem to entice your reader into a romantic frame of mind then to stab with the punch lines. For that is exactly what the realisation of being lied to feels like.
