Why Flies should Die!
Doggerel Dave said:

Dear Sir,
You are reliably informed that those small beasts do sterling work aiding in pollination (Important now the bee population is in decline),
clear up rotting debris (rotting, are you?). Fly larvae have many uses – including in medicine…
Until you have reached that state of evolution which allows you to fly to the ceiling and land upside down, might I suggest you treat these magnificent creatures with a trifle more respect.
Sincerely,
Dept of Health and industry

PS: As I attempted to get my washing on the line today, that bloody fly tried to gain access to my mouth, nose, ears and eyes.. ( haven\'t had that much attention since...you don\'t want to know), got to find me hat with the dangly corks…
Fun write, Sax – enjoyed v much..

and, so: we dance - again
in the Rain, only now
we have the wisdom
to bring along our wellies
\'Wahaaaaayyyyy\' - indubitably, truly..

in that P. G. Wodehouse fun of relativity:
\'Memories are like mulligatawny soup

It is best not to stir them.\'..

That’s a hard one neatly put, Sax.
I like to think I’ve matured, ‘liberated’ myself over the years –but have I really? Am I kinder, tolerate fools more gladly, resolve problems better? Well in some ways there have been marginal improvements, but overall? The answer as you succinctly put it, is ‘nahhhhhhhh ‘ –Same old thought patterns…same old…same old.
Good to know there are other imperfect human beings out there prepared to acknowledge…

Dear Saxon Crow, excellence comes along rarely but when it does it is outstanding. Today you display your creative humour and poetic craft with a superb showpiece.
This is so good on so many levels.

Have I got room for it among my favourites.... even if there were none, I\'d make room for it.
