Wonderful World
L. B. Mek said:

at a time when even imagining such a world
is a stretch, for most
your words offer comfort, in their own way
for we must first, be able to envision
the future\'s we wish, to cultivate
however utopianly unlikely, they may be..
lol
thank you! a necessary write
with wonderful flow

Good write SC.
I got muddled - Re 8 billion. Does a billion have 9 or 12 zeros? In more modern \'today\' times, it\'s 9 zeros now.
I was involved in some daft puzzle - how many paper clips joined together would be needed to make a chain around the Earth?
Sort of everyday things one need to know. Doh! Several million (which has 6 zeros!).

Great imagery in this parable, Sax.
Unfortunately Mum will be exerting more punishment yet. I hope her very immature child eventually grows up and takes some responsibility.

This is beautiful Saxon.
You\'re very observant and the ways that you manifest your observations are lovely.
The metaphors are on point, and your imagery never fails.
If only we were kinder to the Earth.
I mean global warming is going to wipe us out if we don\'t do something.
But until then, thank you for this.

A shopkeeper sweeps away the grit, then puts stock out under the canopy each day. A bit like rearranging the dust. No one hardly buys anything - shop is too expensive.

Such a beautiful tribute to a very talented musician, and beautiful Lady. I grew up with the music of Fleetwood Mac. We will all succumb to age, but the music will truly live forever, as those who made it. So lovingly written dear poet. So much a fav.

Leaf(p) of faith
orchidee said:

I admit I have faith often in how things are. I suppose it\'s not much faith, as we can \'see\' what\'s going on. It\'s sad, a Bible verse \'What a man sees, why does he yet hope for it?\' i.e. the thing is there in front of his nose!
Not that we all have to overdo it and try walking on water. From one extreme to the other?
End of waffle.
