This makes me smile and cry, absolutely gorgeous, love the song too,and for the past 20 years has meant so much. I won\'t be driving home this year, but soon again I will... You brought so much emotion with this, Merry Christmas dearest Mek. Ps I could never miss the M25 though

M25 typical, motorway jam
never, been sweet
but definitely sticky, a situation
at a quarter, to any Sunset hour
bumbler to bumper
ghost face, to glare
we hobble along, knowing
‘we’, are the lucky ones.
....
My favourite verse.
I really enjoyed reading this piece you have a way with words 😊

Love this poem. That\'s actually happening as we drive slowly home in the traffic jam.

A wind just greeted me
A letter dropped by
Pinging a notification that a poetry released by
I went through the lines
That took me on a scene
Maybe it was a usual meet
A usual hi
A simple drive
But that wasn’t the scene
Th lines got me takeaways
Promises In midst of uncertainties hooked me
Maybe that kept me stuck for so long
The scenes so vivid
As if I was seating in passenger’s seat
Watching it happening in front of my eyes
The feel so real
Amazing dear Mek

The simplistic title spoke such depth
Sir as expected the words speak volumes again
Coming to terms is the need yet heart escapes from this term
As often it hurts to accept what life and time throws upon

I\'m so very happy I stumbled across this as I was looking for the poem you mentioned in a comment on one of mine. This song in particular always brings me back to a sense of inner peace when the world feels too busy and I forget to meditate. Thank you for the gentle reminder!

The ancients knew how to understand and work with nature, whereas in future everything will be provided pre packaged, where all will become void of survival techniques and won’t recognize what lies beneath their feet.

A very important message stored
A poet isn’t a normal being
His power is without boundaries
And sir you truly display the versatility
Well crafted with a powerful message and much needed topic

One of my favourite wordsmith\'s Mek, you don\'t only make it look easy but you always bring something important to the table, I\'ve seen the twisters today on TV that have made my heart beat so fast, whether it\'s global warming or just bad luck to have the biggest in History only the future will tell. Bless you for always bringing discussion and empathy and compassion. 💖

Ah yes that future again. How can we expect it\'s ripe fruits if all we do is pollute.
A fitting reminder in these times when we like to surround ourselves with plentys.

I really enjoyed this. The last part with the dinosaurs roaming back reminded me of a thought I once had of what the future would be like once we\'re extinct. I use to say to myself: \"What would the new dominate species think of us when they find our remains and how will they fill in the gaps of parts of our story that\'s missing?\"

You have coined exactly how my reality began to singe its way through the clouds of \"oh no, not consciousness\" as slowly and painfully the regrets of the night before cruised drunkenly through my hung-over senses.
The beauty of reality opened before me and i rushed for the bathroom overwhelmed.
