Suicide
Kinsey Peterson said:

I get it. I relapsed again last night. All this proves is that you aren\'t the only one going through it. I\'m here if you need someone. I promise. We don\'t know eachother but trust me when I say that your words mean something. They do.

the kindest person in your life
is right there
looking back in that eager mirror
befriend that reflection, trust in it
and let it gift you the love
you deserve!

Self Discovery
Doggerel Dave said:

Sounds like the \'long and hard process\' has been worthwhile if I take this beyond the neat simple little portrayal of a moment in your personal development. I liked that very much despite not being very fond of introspective poetry.

Greed
Mr. Not said:

i think greed and being selfish are two sperate things, selfish is when you take what you need to survive(can be used differently) and greed is taking what you want because you want it. this poem sums it up well

L. B. Mek said:

so timely..!
once we were trapped
by societal or cultural
parameter limitations
of unsaid, do\'s and dont\'s
imbued in our choices, tapestry..
now, we click an app
and subject ourselves
to tyrannical opinions of our worth, willingly..
that ever-present, regression
in our strive for progression..
(a great message and write
thanks for sharing)

You portray the lady of the night in stark detail. No glass slipper, just the harsh reality of life.

Anger
Rocky Lagou said:

Wow this is such a vivid way to describe that rage that ignites in us from time to time. I love that “volcano” and “boil” you present and it really goes to show that anger in ways so real. This is wonderful.

Good Night
Bella Shepard said:

Your words powerfully evoke the struggle that the mind often goes through when sleep is elusive. May your breaths slow and find the rhythm of peace. Very well written.

I suppose a sarcastic god may tell you your purpose in life was actually life itself. It\'s a question we\'ll never know, but still free to search for.

The Great War
dusk arising said:

That first verse made me go ouch! The largest conflict we know of World War 2 was not all hearts full of greed or ambition. One nation guilty of those traits recruited two other nations of similar ambition but the rest of the world stood firm where they could to resist the onslaught. Since then the \'west\' has not been to war for greed or ambition but rather to defend or pacify.... though with questionable outcomes i\'ll grant you LOL.

The World After I Die
ProfessionalPaperDigester said:

I believe death to be sleeping, whether it scares you in life it\'s peaceful in death. And what the world doesn\'t do you have to, if you wished to be mourned be someone worth mourning about. Memory is all people will have with you after passing so make them good ones.
