sadly we now live in communities within communities and the reluctance of many communities not willing to engage on a positive note with other communities, it creates unneeded tension and division, as they say when i was a lad, everyone looked out for everyone not it is for them self. Loved the read raising a serious issue that effects all people in all countries around the world.

When I was a child we had the neighbourhood watch in the UK now I live in Italy and it\'s upgraded to the grannies force of the FBI 🤣 what a marvelous poem written with compassion and the empathy it speaks of, the community spirit is broken all over the world, may this beautiful poem reach the hearts of all of us. Fortunately I adore my neighbours and we all look out for eachother but we are a small village. ❤️

Musings on a morning walk in the snow

I can remember as far back as the days when I too could walk in the snow that fell long and deep, exactly the way you have so eloquently portraited here .. indeed, I can also recall little things of beauty that would catch my eye on the way the things that stand out and the retina retains .. such a treat to follow in those footprints of yours on a cold day but from the relative warmth of my study .. Keeping our mind focused on the now prevents our slipping. The line \"And soon it will be as if I was never here\" is great and reinforces that we are nothing but shadows soon forgotten after we are gone. Lovely Bella
