Your poem is an exploration of human perception and the intricate relationship between reality, the mind, and the psyche. The poem suggests that reality is subjective, experienced through individual perception, and emphasizes that understanding oneself is a lifelong journey.

A very thoughtful and reflective piece, Bella. The inward turn toward perception and psyche gives it depth, and that final line...fro real! Truly, an excellent job, my dear friend. 🖤🙏🕯️🐦‍⬛

A lovely write of the complexities of our long journey, how we see or not see things, how we interpret sometimes wrongly, and the consequences of our actions we rightly or wrongly decide to take, enjoyed the read

Deeply psychological this poem begins with sensation, perception, interpretation, to reaction. mistaken perception, misunderstood may lead to unexpected reactions and such chaos is difficult to comprehend from the outside. People and their actions so difficult to predict a life long effort and still not even close. A lovely write Bella and a fave

Bella, there’s real clarity in this poem. No overreach, no extras... just truth laid down. That final line doesn’t blink..the \"will\" in that line hits as it should: with certainty. Beautifully powerful in its brevity and impact. 🌹👏 A fave, my friend.

the poem \"Lost\" revolves around the disconnect between potential and reality. It illustrates the struggles of an individual who possesses various faculties—eyes, ears, hands, mouth, feet, heart, soul, and mind—but fails to utilize them in a meaningful or fulfilling way. The poem conveys a sense of unfulfilled potential and existential despair.

Contradictions excellently woven in a tapestry of chagrin, painfully familiar to all, more or less, in one way or another, rendered beautifully with excellent imagery and a haunting poignancy. Thank you for sharing.

Bella, this one delivers in a slow collapse…each line peeling away something raw. The repetition isn’t just rhythm...it’s weight. “Potential that was, but never fulfilled”… that line hit me the hardest, because we are all potential unfulfilled in one way or another. You didn’t just write about loss..you embodied it. Beautifully done. 🌹👏 A fave from me.

Hello Bella,

The first half of the verse reads like laziness succumbing to voluntary ignorance and then as one reads on there is a feeling of loss, abandonment, a soul left out in the cold, as it were struggling to a bitter end. A splendid poem in many ways and one that will linger on in the reader\'s mind. Thank you very much for this one.

Fond regards,

Tony.

We are as humans giving the tools to do so much better and be more kinder and caring to our fellow human beings and to ourselves. As this highlights we waste those opportunities and never realize the full potential that is out there, really enjoyed the read

Tristan Robert Lange said:

The restraint in this hits harder than shouting ever could. That quiet repetition...“put it away”...carries so much unspoken weight. It’s the kind of hurt that sticks around and haunts because it’s been lived too many times. Beautifully done, Bella. 🌹👏
