Bella, this one delivers in a slow collapse…each line peeling away something raw. The repetition isn’t just rhythm...it’s weight. “Potential that was, but never fulfilled”… that line hit me the hardest, because we are all potential unfulfilled in one way or another. You didn’t just write about loss..you embodied it. Beautifully done. 🌹👏 A fave from me.

Hello Bella,

The first half of the verse reads like laziness succumbing to voluntary ignorance and then as one reads on there is a feeling of loss, abandonment, a soul left out in the cold, as it were struggling to a bitter end. A splendid poem in many ways and one that will linger on in the reader\'s mind. Thank you very much for this one.

Fond regards,

Tony.

We are as humans giving the tools to do so much better and be more kinder and caring to our fellow human beings and to ourselves. As this highlights we waste those opportunities and never realize the full potential that is out there, really enjoyed the read

Would, could, should, might, wished, wanted words that never were satisfied, that never came to being. Well spoken in this poem of effort never expended, things never realized. Well done Bella and a fave

Put It Away
Tristan Robert Lange said:

The restraint in this hits harder than shouting ever could. That quiet repetition...“put it away”...carries so much unspoken weight. It’s the kind of hurt that sticks around and haunts because it’s been lived too many times. Beautifully done, Bella. 🌹👏

Sage words Bella, expressed with fervour in a down to earth narrative as it should be. Experience holds sway through this one. Very well done indeed.

All the very best\'

The Good Fight
Tony Grannell said:

Yes, the good fight indeed, all one seeks is fairness, understanding and togetherness in the simplicities of life - and of course, fun, fun for all ages. A life without fun is like porridge without honey. An excellent poem genuinely composed by a humanitarian and rendered forth by an excellent poet. Very well done indeed.

Kind regards,

Tony.
