You are one of the few that brilliantly and unashamedly use internal rhyme and near rhyme in the flow of the story, not at the expected meter where others may use it but as surprise it pops up in the most unexpected places. This is a delight and adds so much to your poems. They flow like a story but read like poetry so nice to see.
